Monassteries: The monastery in Chora really overwhelms you. It is visible from almost all places on this scenic little island. Patmos has a very religious past starting from the writing of St. John's book of Revelations in the holy Cave of the Apocalypse. Restaurants and Taverns A wide selection of cuisine all over the island while cafes-bars and clubs await for the more outgoing. The villa is located in Epsimia in one of the most beautiful parts of the island with incredible views on a plot of four acres. The place is very quiet but only 5 minutes close to Skala (port)and close to Chora (also 5 minutes). Driving or riding around is really uncomplicated. You won`t find any traffic light on the road that swerve und turn unfolding new spectacular view at every curve. We recommend you use a car for exploring the island.
