In the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park, perched in another world, your panoramic refuge, nestled on a small plateau, lets your eyes be amazed as you contemplate the plunging cliffs of the Goulets, the depth as far as the eye can see of the Cirque de Léoncel or the tranquility of the small orchard which is home to magnificent trees, but also three llamas, a horse and a sheep. The space . You are surrounded by nature, in the heart of an orchard, in a small peaceful hamlet on the heights of Pont-en-Royans, a few hundred meters from where your hosts Lionel, Myriam and their three daughters live. Your refuge offers magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding nature from its huge bay windows! Here there is a sweet mixture combining the serenity of the Vercors Isérois mountains & the joie de vivre at the gates of the south, in Drôme. From the hanging houses of Pont-en-Royans, to the high plateaus of the Vercors massif, to the depths of the Choranche cave, immerse yourself in the heart of a nature & adventure destination, just a few steps from iconic sites. Simply put, it's a great place to live! Your refuge has all the usual comforts in 14 square meters perfectly optimized: * Sleeping area: a queen size bed 160 x 200 cm (2 adults) and a sofa bed (1 additional adult, extra bed) * Kitchen area: gas stove, isothermal refrigerator (with ice packs), sink, utensils, dishes and condiments * Living room area, dining area with table, chairs * Bathroom: sink, walk-in shower and eco-friendly toilet (dry) * Soaps, towels and bed linens provided * Heating by a gas stove * Ceiling fan to cool you down (no air conditioning) * Outdoor furniture (except winter): wooden terrace, table, chairs, deck chairs * Drinking water via a 5-liter fountain: do not drink tap water, which is supplied by a tank and is used for showers and dishes * Cleaning included * Free parking * Travel cot on request: it is not possible to unfold the sofa bed and a travel cot at the same time On the catering side, in addition and upon reservation at least 48 hours before your stay (then according to availability after this period), your hosts Lionel and Myriam offer you mainly local products delivered to your refuge: - Breakfast (€10 per person) - A brunch formula (€20 per person) - Aperitif boards (from €20) - Regional dishes (depending on availability: ravioli, fried trout, caillettes) - But also cakes (birthday or other) and small sweet treats, prepared with love by their daughter Alice, apprentice pastry chef GOOD TO KNOW: The refuge is located in nature and is completely self-sufficient: electricity is produced by solar panels, cooking and heating are gas-powered and running water is stored in a tank. You have all the usual comforts, but the idea of an alternative habitat is also to be aware of its impact on the environment! As a result, a few rules are required during your stay: 1) Except for phones and laptops, do not plug in electrical appliances other than those provided on site, as this may damage the solar system. It is therefore not possible to use, for example, your hairdryer, a straightener or a raclette device 2) The risk of fire being very high in the wilderness, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the hut and its surroundings, but also to light any flame (no barbecue) 3) Wastewater is filtered by plants: you are asked to use only the 100% natural products provided for your stay 4) No pets allowed (sorry for your 4-legged friends, or less) What about Lionel and Myriam, your hosts for a stay? "We are Myriam and Lionel, your Homnest hosts. We love to travel, wander, meet, discover something new and embark on projects that are each more crazy than the last. We have 3 daughters and are from Vercors. We cultivate a walnut orchard, where your refuge is immersed, close to our llamas, our horse, our goat and our peaceful living environment. We've always loved hosting and sharing! We will welcome you to our home with pleasure to help you discover our beautiful region and its secrets, which we can tell you about over a local beer, brewed in Saint-André! The refuge is located in the orchard of Lionel and Myriam, who live a little further away in their house. They are very friendly and rather discreet, but you may come across them during your stay (as well as their dogs) There is no Wi-Fi in the accommodation (but the 4G network generally works well on site) The entrance to the shelter is not step-free (slightly elevated).
