Description

In the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park, perched in another world, your panoramic refuge, nestled on a small plateau, lets your eyes be amazed as you contemplate the plunging cliffs of the Goulets, the depth as far as the eye can see of the Cirque de Léoncel or the tranquility of the small orchard which is home to magnificent trees, but also three llamas, a horse and a sheep. The space . You are immersed in nature, in the heart of an orchard, in a small peaceful hamlet on the heights of Pont-en-Royans, a few hundred meters from where your hosts Lionel, Myriam and their three daughters live. Your hideaway gives you a grandiose panoramic view of the surrounding nature from its huge floor-to-ceiling windows! Here reigns a sweet mix combining the serenity of the Vercors Isérois mountains and the joie de vivre at the gates of the south, in Drome. From the hanging houses of Pont-en-Royans, the high plateaus of the Vercors massif to the depths of the Choranche Cave, immerse yourself in the heart of a nature & adventure destination, just steps away from iconic sites. A great place to live, simply! ✓ AMENITIES ❀ Your refuge has all the usual comforts in 14 square meters perfectly optimized: * Sleeping area: one queen size bed 160x200 cm (2 adults) and one sofa bed (1 extra adult, extra bed) * Kitchen area: Gas hob, insulated fridge (with icebread), sink, utensils, dishes and condiments * Lounge area, dining with table, chairs * Bathroom: Sink, walk-in shower, and eco-friendly toilet (dry) * Soap, towels, and bedding provided * Heating by a gas stove * Ceiling fan to cool off (no air conditioning) * Outdoor furniture (except winter): wooden deck, table, chairs, Chilean * Drinking water via a 5 liter fountain: do not drink water from the faucets, which is fed by a tank and is used for showers and dishes * Housekeeping included * Free parking * Umbrella bed on request: it is not possible to unfold the sofa bed and an umbrella bed at the same time 𖠜 HEATING: • Thanks to its powerful stove, your refuge becomes a real warm cocoon, even when the cold winter temperatures are raging outside. Within minutes, an enveloping heat spreads throughout the lodge. A gentle and comforting atmosphere, perfect for sitting down with a book in hand by the fire or simply contemplating the soft orange flames. ❆ FAN (but no air conditioning) • A ceiling fan will give you the feeling of freshness in bed in summer. 𖣔 FOOD AND DRINK: For catering, at an additional cost and with a reservation at least 48 hours before your stay (then according to availability after this period), your hosts Lionel and Myriam offer you a selection of mainly local products delivered to your retreat: - Breakfast (€10 per person) - Brunch formula (€20 per person) - Aperitif boards (from €20) - Regional plates (depending on availability: dumplings, frying, caillettes) - But also cakes (birthday or other) and sweet treats, lovingly prepared by their daughter Alice, grazing apprentice ✓ GOOD TO KNOW: The refuge is installed in nature and fully self-contained: electricity is produced by solar panels, kitchen and heating run on gas and running water is stored in a tank. You have all the usual comforts, but the idea of an alternative habitat is also to become aware of its impact on the environment! As a result, a few rules are required during your stay: 1) Except phones and laptops, electrical appliances other than those provided on site should not be connected at the risk of damaging the solar system. It is therefore not possible to use, for example, your hair dryer, a straightening iron or a raclette machine 2) The risk of fire being very high in nature, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in and around the shelter, but also to light any flame (no barbecue) 3) Sewage is filtered by plants: You are asked to only use the 100% natural products provided for your stay 4) No pets allowed (sorry for your four-legged friends, or less) What about Lionel and Myriam, your hosts for a stay? “We're Myriam and Lionel, your hosts Homnest.
