This is a special little place in a very big space! Converted hunting camp that offers the feel of being remote yet maintains most modern amenities. Guests can explore the surrounding State Forest via the many hiking trails, grill a meal at the fire ring patio and sip a local wine as the sun sets. Less than 20 minutes drive to Cornell University, Ithaca Commons, Cayuga Lake, and Greek Peak, this property offers ready access a variety of attractions for the whole family. The space Two locally sourced Amish sheds finished and designed to host guests that want to get away but enjoy many of the comforts of modern living. The galley kitchen includes a cooktop stove, coffee maker, air fryer, refrigerator / freezer, and a sink with running cold water. There is a gas grill located on the deck. Please note - There is no hot water in the kitchen. An addition was recently completed to add a 2nd room to the main cabin with gorgeous views of the property. We ask that guests not use the woodstove. There are small electric heaters in main cabin and bunkhouse. The main cabin includes the kitchen, living areas, and queen futon. The bunkhouse includes additional bunk beds and the bathroom (with hot water.) Guest access Guests have access to the main cabin and bunkhouse as well as the 20+ acres of private property the cabin sits on. Other things to note While guests are welcome to use the fire pit for outdoor grilling or enjoying a fire in the evening, large equipment used to maintain property (example: tractor) is not for guest use. Linens are provided for the Queen futon, but guests will need to provide their own linens (sleeping bags work great here!) for the bunkhouse.
