Waldheimat mountain hut

Well-being and relaxation are available for rent! Unique, rustic self-catering cabin lovingly renovated with open fireplace, modern fixtures and fittings, conservatory with barbecue area, swimming pond, private sauna house with wood-burning sauna, terrace, well-tended garden, carport, Wi-Fi, large TV, and a great view! Record collection and many furnishings from a bygone era. Well-equipped kitchen and hygienic bathroom. The space Open-plan cabin with 2 bedrooms (no doors) with sliding stairs to 2 separate beds each, plus an additional farmhouse bed in the living room area. Solid dining table, well-equipped kitchen, and bathroom (including towels, soap, hair dryer, toilet paper, wet wipes). The rustic mountain hut is located at 960 m above sea level in “Rosegger's Waldheimat” in Styria and offers a great view. Built by my grandfather in the early 1970s, it was completely renovated over a period of two years with great attention to detail, bringing it back to life. The owner's house is located on the well-kept 3,000 m² property, a good 20 meters away. You can relax undisturbed, but I am still available for you. The swimming pond on the property is at your disposal (concrete pool with filtered natural water without chlorine and without a roof). Peter Rosegger's Waldheimat offers many leisure activities throughout the year (programs and brochures are available for every guest), e.g., numerous hiking trails, a large swimming area in the village, mushroom hunting, mini golf, bike paths, culinary experiences, the famous pony farm with riding lessons is only about 300 meters away as the crow flies, several ski lifts in the area, cross-country ski trails, various museums, a summer toboggan run, steam train rides on the narrow-gauge railway in Birkfeld, and much more. The picturesque Styrian village of Ratten in eastern Styria is just over an hour away from Vienna (approx. 120 km) and can be easily reached via the S6 and then over the Alpl. It is less than an hour away from Graz and approx. 2 hours from Linz. The village center is only a few hundred meters from the mountain hut and offers excellent infrastructure (gas station, grocery store, butcher, tobacco shop, workshop, and much more). Other things to note No party location (recreational area), pets are unfortunately not allowed, and smoking is strictly prohibited in the cabin.
