Located in Kluisbergen, at the end of a paved road amidst the picturesque Koppenberg, Taaienberg, and Patersberg, our sustainably renovated farmhouse is a haven for hikers and cyclists. With Kluisbos and Muziekbos only 10 km away, you can immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings, whether through leisurely walks, cycling escapades, or enjoyable evenings with friends. Welcome to our retreat, where comfort, nature, and conviviality await. The space Our old farmhouse has been transformed into three environmentally friendly holiday cottages. Hoekhuis offers a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for five people. The cottage features an open kitchen with an island and five comfortable stools, along with a welcoming sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator, including a convenient storage space. On the first floor, you'll find two pleasant bedrooms and a modern bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. In the spacious bedroom, you'll even discover a freestanding bathtub with a sink. All beds are made, and complimentary towels ensure a relaxing start to your vacation. With excellent Wi-Fi but intentionally without a television or screen, we provide a peaceful environment. Children have fun in the garden with a slide, swing, trampoline, small outdoor kitchen, and a summer hammock. The cozy spot around the fire is the perfect place to share stories. Here, you'll feel at home! A shared bike storage and a washing machine are at your disposal, making it easy to travel without unnecessary baggage. The landscape and idyllic views invite you to explore the surroundings. The Kluisbos and Muziekbos are two beautiful forests that are definitely worth a visit. At Kluisbos, you can enjoy the beautiful nature and tranquility, as well as the unique giants that reside there. The Muziekbos is known for its unique beech trees and spring flowers. In spring, bluebells, periwinkle, and wild garlic create a colorful patchwork. Several hiking trails will lead you along the most beautiful spots in the forest. If you've had enough of nature and want to shop or grab a bite, Ronse and Oudenaarde are easily accessible. You'll find plenty of shops and restaurants there. In Oudenaarde, you can kayak, paddleboat, or stand-up paddle on the Donkvijver. If you're a cycling enthusiast, you can visit the Center of the Tour of Flanders. On the square, you can admire the late Gothic town hall. If you want to delve even more into culture, the cities of Ghent, Kortrijk, Bruges, Tournai, and Lille are interesting destinations about 40 minutes away by car. These cities boast a rich historical and cultural heritage with numerous attractions, museums, restaurants, and cafes. A day trip to any of these cities is an excellent way to enjoy everything Burgundian culture has to offer. Guest access Hoekhuis is a part of our ecologically renovated farm. The inner courtyard, the wooded garden, and the meadow with orchard are shared spaces. You have the house and the terrace entirely to yourselves, allowing you to enjoy a high level of privacy.
