Wonderful lake view from back deck, very short walk to Lake Superior! Sorry, no pets! This quiet, low-key neighborhood is tucked down near Lake Superior in Duluth's Endion neighborhood. The house itself was built in 1890 and features a lake view from the patio, claw foot tub, radiators, MCM pieces and modern vintage charm. It's a 3 walk block to the lake walk where you can pick agates and watch the waves on beautiful Lake Superior. Step back in time in this bright and thoughtfully preserved space with maple hardwood floors, velvet curtains, a claw foot tub, and porcelain door knobs. All three bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs. The claw foot tub is a fun feature, but requires a big step up into it. There are grab bars to assist you getting in and out. If you are with a group, be mindful that the hot water may run out if demand is too high. Consider spacing out your showers. The California King bedroom has a Smart TV. The two other bedrooms each have a Queen and Full bed. There is an exercise bike in one of the bedroom closets you can take out for a workout. Downstairs, there is a comfy couch and Smart TV in the front room, as well as a vintage stereo console, which the AM/FM radio works. There is a big table in the dining room, and seating in the parlor. The kitchen has a bar for more seating and viewing wildlife, as well as a gas stove, kettle, microwave, coffee pot, espresso machine, French press and items you will need to cook and eat meals. The back patio is the place to dine outside or light the propane fire pit and watch boats and trains go by while enjoying the Lake Superior breeze. Per the city of Duluth, a guest record including the name, address, phone number, and vehicle license plate information for all guests is required. Parking in on-street only. There typically are parking spots right outside the house. 2 cars max please. Everything excluding the basement. We don't interact with you, but if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. Walk to the Rose Garden, Lake Walk, Leif Erickson Park or Coffee Shops a few blocks away. 1-2 Miles to Canal Park, Park Point Beaches, UMD, St. Scholastica, The Depot, and downtown restaurants such as Va Bene, Blackwoods, and Hanabi. This is a central location to everything in Duluth. Walk or bike one block down the street, and two blocks South, and get to the pedestrian bridge and lake walk, which will take you directly to Canal Park. Drive up Woodland Ave, and get to the colleges in minutes. Drive further up the North Shore and find wonderful state parks such as Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Light House. The bus line runs on Superior Street, which is two block away.
