Boasting a coziness & rustic feel ,featuring custom high end & Adirondack style furnishings which offer a true Tahoe mountain living experience. This property was completely remodeled and designed by the owner with attention to every detail. Enjoy the outdoor serenity on the extra large deck, or private hot tub in the huge fenced yard. The space Step in side and immerse yourself in the Tahoe ambience of this separate entrance and private upper level duplex. The coziness of the Enchanted Retreat, will make you feel right at home . Whether snuggling up by the River rock gas fireplace on the new Lazy Boy sofa, or whipping up a delicious meal in the remodeled kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, you will right at home. The duplex also offers 3 types of coffee makers, food processor, rice cooker, waffle maker, nutra bullet ,etc.You name it, we have it. The master bedroom features a new Aireloom mattress with Wooded River luxury bedding. The twin bedroom offers a trundle bed complete with a Beauty Rest mattress and the second bed a memory foam with feather bed( 2 twins ) and custom made wrangler and buffalo check bedding. There is a small TV (VHS) perfect for the littles. The property has a HUGE fenced in back yard perfect for your doggo, as well as a play structure for kids. There is also a lovely Hot Springs private hot tub just for this unit only and is available year round. ** NOTE**This huge back yard and hot tub is not shared with the other unit and is very private. In the winter, we have many options for your skiing recreation. Diamond Peak is only a 15 minute drive away as well as Northstar being 20. If you choose not to drive there is also a shuttle bus that is one block walk to take you to Northstar or to Palisades Tahoe. *** WALKING DISTANCE TO THE LAKE/ BEACH** Once you arrive, you don't need to drive;) see below for all the summer amenities. We are also pet friendly with a small charge per dog. Sorry no puppies or cats. On the deck there is a BBQ available year round , but the 6 person patio set available until the weather is cold / snowy. As soon as the snow flys the patio set / chairs gets put away, but the BBQ stays out .In the winter we have snow sleds for guests use. Also please note: This is duplex ( 2 separate units) This unit enters upstairs although only 2 steps to enter. (NO flight of stairs) In the summer we offer 2 paddle boards, and 2 kayaks. This year we have added 2 kayak carts as well as a beach wagon, ice chest, 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella ,sand toys, and noodles One thing VERY Important. There is NO STREET parking whatsoever.. We have parking upstairs for 1 car up to a larger SUV to the right of the front door and to the left a very small car. I would suggest carpooling or parking at the Crystal Bay Casino 1 block away if you have 2 . Please call me if you need info. *** DRIVING INSTRUCTION FOR THE WINTER VERY IMPORTANT!! ALWAYS CARRY REAL CHAINS FOR YOUR TIRES NOT THE CABLE TYPE. WHEN PARKING AT THE HOME IN THE WINTER IT CAN BE VERY ICY COMING UP GULL AVE. THE EASIEST WAY IS TO GO 2 BLOCKS UP TO STATELINE RD. MAKE A LEFT THERE AND THEN AND ANOTHER LEFT ON COVE ST. THAT WILL DEAD END INTO PIER STREET. TURN RIGHT AND IT WILL WRAP AROUND AND ON THE LEFT HAND YOU WILL SEE THE CABIN. PARK TO THE RIGHT OF THE FRONT DOOR IS THE EASIEST. WHEN LEAVING GO THE SAME WAY. Guest access The property is on single floor with 2 steps up on to the porch to enter. There is parking on the right side of the porch and a lock code on the door to enter. Other things to note We designed this home for a wonderful mountain experience perfect for couples; small families ; and folks with pets. We have just installed brand new July 2024 Stainless appliance including a convection oven / microwave as well as a gas convection/ air fryer / stove . Our LG French door refrigerator is also new . Please read our reviews and see why this is a perfect vacation experience for your family. New gas log fireplace insert. No wood used The home is also very well stocked. We do allow dogs also for $40 per pet per stay per dog no puppies or cats.. Sorry ** NOTE: We highly suggest guests purchase trip cancellation / interruption insurance . We have a very strict cancellation policy unless we can rebook it is non refundable. We suggest Travel Guard. They are great to work with and inexpensive. Also note this year the lake level is high ,so at this point kayaking is great at speedboat, but there is not a sandy beach. There are numerous other public beaches in close proximity, which I can let you know about if you are interested.
