Ideal for families and friends. ** Important note: the house is located in a quiet subdivision, in order to preserve the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, no noise is allowed outside after 10 p.m. — music is prohibited on the terrace and parties are not allowed ** THE LIVING SPACE • A large, open-plan, welcoming living space with a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings. • A fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and everything you need to cook. • Raclette and fondue sets for authentic Savoyard meals. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The house has 5 bedrooms with hotel-quality bedding: • Bedroom 1 (ground floor): 1 queen-size bed (160 x 200). • Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): 1 double bed (140 × 190 cm) and 1 crib with side rails. • Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): 2 bunk beds (4 90 x 200 cm beds). • Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): 1 queen-size bed (160 x 200). • Master suite (Upstairs): 1 queen-size bed (160 x 200) with private bathroom. 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets Outside • A large, private garden of 3,000 m² with magnificent views of the Rhône and the mountains. • A swimming pool (6 m x 2.5 m, unheated), available from June to September and secured by a safety barrier. • A terrace with BBQ for alfresco dining. FOR FAMILIES The house is perfectly equipped for children, with a crib, a portacot, safety gates, two high chairs, a baby bath, and both indoor and outdoor games. The pool is secured by a bar cover; parental supervision is required when it is not closed. ACTIVITES • Close to Chambéry (30 minutes), Bourgoin-Jallieu (40 minutes), Lyon/Grenoble/Geneva (1 hour), and Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport (45 minutes). Just 10 minutes from the A43 highway exit. • Numerous water sports activities just 5 km from the cottage: Le Cuchet water sports center, canoeing, kayaking, canyoning, paddleboarding, and aperitif boat trips. Swimming possible at Lake Romagnieu, 15 minutes away. Water sports on the lakes of Aiguebelette, Bourget and Paladru 20-30 min away. • Varied hiking options with lots of trails nearby, GR9/GR65 Way of St. James. Glandieu Waterfall for nature lovers. • Sports: cycling (Via Rhona), paragliding (Mont Tournier site, Épine site), climbing, via ferrata, tree climbing for thrill seekers, Les Trois Vallons golf course • Ski resorts within 1 hour (Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, Savoie Grand Revard, La Féclaz). • Walibi Park 15 minutes away and Domaine des Fauves 20 minutes away for family outings. • Cultural exploration with the Galletti Museum in Saint-Genix, the Louis Mandrin hideout, Château de Virieu, the Château des Ducs de Savoie in Chambéry, Hautecombe Abbey on Lake Bourget, and the Musée et Monastère de la Grande Chartreuse • Gastronomic exploration with the possibility of visiting wine cellars (Jongieux, Chindrieux) and tasting typical cheeses. AMENITIES • Shops nearby: bakery/grocery store in the village of Champagneux (1 km away), many shops (supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, etc.) in Saint Genix (5 km away). ** Pets allowed on request, contact us! ** Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire property. This includes the house, the garden, the private pool (in season), and a secure garage for storing bicycles, motorcycles, or sports equipment. Other things to note • Linens: Sheets and duvets are provided for all beds. Bath towels are not included but can be rented as an option upon request when you book. • Times: Check-in is from 4:00 pm onwards, and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon request and for an additional fee. • Security: For your safety and that of the property, there are security cameras installed outside only. Noise level detectors (which do not record any sound) are also installed to ensure respect the tranquility of the neighborhood.
