Apartment Urmel (house on the Zabelstein) The space The apartment "Urmel" is located about 100 m² on the 1st floor. It consists of a bright kitchen, a spacious hallway, two bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom. It can accommodate up to 6 people. The spacious bright kitchen includes a large fridge incl. Freezer compartment, induction cooker with oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle. The living room is equipped with a cozy lounge area with couch and TV. An open shelf divides the spacious space and offers two additional sleeping options. The bathroom has a flat walk-in shower, a bathtub, underfloor heating, a radiator towel rack, toilet, a sink, a window and a hair dryer. The bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables. The second bedroom is furnished with two other single beds that can be pushed together. Seating available within courtyard. Guided hiking rides are available on request. Unlimited free WiFi is available for the visitor. Towels, beds, towels and dish towels are available. The Haus am Zabelstein is a former 4 side courtyard and is located on the outskirts of the Lower Franconian town of Bischwind. Not only the quietly protected courtyard and the old stables make up the property, but above all the direct location in nature. So you can be within minutes on foot or by bike between meadows, forests and fields. If you are not satisfied with the evening walk through the adjacent flora and fauna, you can explore the Steigerwald Nature Park on foot or by bike. Right outside the front door is the Zabelstein, the highest elevation of the Steigerwald (480 m), which offers a fantastic view of the Rhön in good weather. The nature park is famous by her old beech forests, her wide valleys and vineyards in the outskirts. The treetop trail in Ebrach (18 km) and the Steigerwald center in Handthal (14 km) complete the offer around the Steigerwald Nature Park. Traditional breweries and hedge farms are all about. Not only the Steigerwald invites you to excursions, but also the well-developed network of hiking and biking trails and a variety of nature experience trails offer them ideal conditions for further nature explorations.
