The space Our small shingle house is a cozy, furnished and well-kept shingle-covered wooden house with a complete set of furnishings, so you can feel at home. Shingle-covered house facades belong to the houses in the Black Forest like the famous cuckoo to the traditional Black Forest clock. This authentic facade has become increasingly rare over time, because the shingles are made in elaborate craftsmanship. The large and spacious garden is one of the highlights of this lovingly furnished vacation home and offers plenty of space for relaxation, retreat and cozy get-togethers. At any time of the day, there is a sunny spot in the countryside, overlooking the Black Forest. It is a very special oasis of peace for a short time or even a few days longer. It's a perfect place to recharge and gather strength for those in need of rest, but of course also a nice place for families with children. You will feel comfortable here and enjoy the Black Forest tranquility and air. The 3 bedrooms also offer the slightly larger family ideal space, but also individuals, a few friends or a couple can make themselves comfortable here. The two nostalgic bathrooms are ideal for refreshment after an extensive hike in the Black Forest. A sauna is in the planning stage. Just do the things here on your vacation that you may not find so much time and space for at home. In our kitchen you can cook and bake to your heart's content, an apron and pot holders are ready. Or enjoy the time out in the Black Forest with a cozy raclette evening. Do you want to put your smartphone and tablet aside? In the dining room you can experience fun game afternoons and evenings. Treat yourself to just sitting comfortably in an armchair or in a garden corner, drinking coffee, looking into the distance or reading a book. Have you started one of our books and would you like to read it to the end?... so don't hesitate to take it with you. If you have read a good book, but do not want to take it home again, you will surely find a place on the bookshelf and the next person will be happy. Our Schindelhäusle is intended to embody coziness and comfort and offer you a place for the deceleration that you may not have at home with all the duties.
