The Barn and the Gîte de la Baisse

The Grange and the Gîte de La Baisse are part of the four houses of the Domaine. Recently restored and tastefully furnished, they are located in a hamlet including an exceptional 22-meter shared swimming pool. Both houses have a shared garden of 3000 m2. The owners live on site (a couple and 4 young children), the courtyard distributing the houses is shared as well as the swimming pool. The space The 2 houses are located in a quiet hamlet, in the heart of the vegetation between the ridges of Beaujolais and the vineyards. We have been renovating this slice of paradise for two years and can't wait to share it with you. The 2 accommodations are completely separate and equipped with a kitchen and living room each. Meals for 15 can be taken in the kitchen of the Gîte or on the terrace. The Gîte has a covered outdoor terrace of 70 square meters, with a table for eating meals in the shade and garden furniture. The house, completely renovated, is composed on the ground floor: - a 25-square-meter living room with board games waiting for you, - and a 25-square-meter kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, oven, fridge, induction cooktop). Upstairs: - the Rosalie Room, equipped with a 140 x 190 cm bed, and its bamboo decoration will allow you to admire the vines as far as the eye can see - the Marius Room and its mottled decoration, is equipped with a 160 x 200 cm bed, The Rosalie Room and the Marius Room share a bathroom with shower, and have a separate toilet. The family area is composed of: - the Gigogne Room, equipped with two 90 x 190 cm beds. This room, crossing, is modular according to your needs (single beds for children, beds joined to make one). - the Musset Room, equipped with a 140 x 190 cm bed, with a view of the vineyards. The Gigogne Room and the Musset Room share a bathroom with shower and toilet. The barn is composed of three floors: The ground floor consists of a living/dining room, an equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, fridge, induction hob) and a separate toilet. Board games are available for your use! The first floor is composed of: - the Achille Room has a 160 x 200 cm bed, - the Lafontaine Room is a room composed of two 80 x 200 cm stacked beds. This room is modular according to your needs, the beds can be separated to make two single beds, joined to make a double bed of 160 x 200 cm, or used as a bench bed for one person. It has a view of the Pigeonnier and the virgin vineyard that adorns it. Both bedrooms have a bathroom with shower, and a separate toilet. The second floor is composed of: - the Palmyra Room, with a 140 x 200 cm bed, and its bamboo decoration - the Chambre Céleste, equipped with a 160 x 200 cm bed, with a view of the Romanesque Church of the village of Saint-Etienne-la-Varenne is an invitation to travel. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. Please note that the staircase leading to the first floor is a little steep, and is not suitable for everyone. The beds will be ready upon arrival. The village center is a 10-minute walk away. A shopping mall is 15 minutes away by car. Your vacation: In addition to enjoying the house, relaxing in the countryside, and relaxing by the pool, you can discover Beaujolais, the banks of the Saône. Our region is full of discoveries and activities for the whole family. You can alternate all kinds of cultural activities, sports (mountain biking, running, etc.), outings, discovery of the vineyards. No pets or smokers inside the house. Ipsy, our ten-year-old Queen Labrador, may come to beg you for petting, between naps. Guest access Guests enjoy access to an exceptional shared pool 22 meters long and 6 meters wide. The pool is shared between the Gîte de la Baisse, the Grange de la Baisse and our family home. The pool is available from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The pool has a deck chair, to rest and perfect your tan. Meals at the pool are not allowed for the comfort and tranquility of all. We are sure you will understand. Other things to note Baby equipment upon request. Having two small children, we can lend you equipment.
