Getting around the island There are several ways to get around the island and to go from beach to beach (the nearest to us is the village beach, a 5-6 minute walk away). You can do this on foot. From the village to the furthest beach on the island, Pori, takes around 45 minutes. From our house you will pass a series of coves, then Finilia beach, Fanos beach, Italida beach, again a series of coves, then Pori beach. From the port you can also take a boat which leaves every half hour from 10am until the end of the day (€7 return). You can also take a taxi if you wish. The fare is modest (around €10). For those who want to go cycling (mountain biking), there are three rental offices that also offer electric bikes.
