Stay at the historic Star Hotel

Stay at the historic Star Hotel. Built in 1861, we are one of the oldest pubs in town. We are excited to start offering accommodation again in this beautiful building. Located in Sale’s CBD, you’ll be within walking distance to supermarkets, cafes, the library and the Port of Sale. Head downstairs for a meal or just a few drinks in the bar with the locals. Or if you’re looking for some action, join us for trivia on Thursday nights or some live music over the weekend. The space Located on the first floor (no lift, you will have to go up one flight of stairs), we have an airconditioned one-bedroom apartment, with queen sized bed. In the lounge room there are a selection of books and a smart tv. The kitchen has a coffee machine, a selection of teas a microwave, a toaster and an oven if you feel like cooking. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a separate toilet. There is also a washing machine & dryer in the space for your convenience. The entire apartment will be yours. A carpark is located on site. We ask that you don’t explore the rest of the upstairs area of the hotel though, as alarms will sound. Guest access Self check-in is from 2.00pm. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent to you on the day of arrival. Check-out is 10am. While the pub is open you are free to come and go through any door. Once the hotel has closed guest access is via our Macalister Street entrance only. Other things to note Our pub is open late every night, we have done our best to sound proof the apartment but you may hear some noise filter through the building. Please do not venture past your apartment. Alarms will sound and you will be charged a call out fee for security.
