The cabin also has a delicate, tiled bathroom with overhead shower and a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The cabin is built in sustainable Arctic slow-growing pine from the log house manufacturer Kontio. The timber is PEFC certified, which ensures sustainable forestry. The long growth period provides a large proportion of heartwood which makes the pine strong and durable, and it also has antibacterial properties.
