As far north and east as you go in Europe, you will find Ekkerøy Lodge. The space Ekkerøy Lodge is elegantly furnished with unique details adapted to both holiday stays and creative work processes. The living room has a large dining and meeting table, a sofa lounge and an open kitchen. The room also has a large screen and sound system for presentations or film screenings. The kitchen has everything you need for a wonderful feast, and we can fill up the fridge with local ingredients. When you finally settle down for the night, you take a seat in one of three bedrooms with lovely double beds with bed linen from Hästens. There's nothing like a wood-fired sauna after swimming in the Arctic Ocean 60 meters away. The cabin also has a delicate, tiled bathroom with overhead shower and a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The cabin is built in sustainable Arctic slow-growing pine from the log house manufacturer Kontio. The timber is PEFC certified, which ensures sustainable forestry. The long growth period provides a large proportion of heartwood which makes the pine strong and durable, and it also has antibacterial properties.
