Wisteria House offered by Mulberry Stays is a Spacious 6 bedroom Grade II listed Town House - the front rooms reflect the town centre vibe in the hub of Uckfield but the rear rooms are nice and quiet for lighter sleepers. Once here you can relax and walk to the nearby amenities. Its a perfect base for the group to explore the area. It is easily accessible by bus car or train. There is private parking at the rear that is suitable for 3 cars/small vans and a garden to enjoy The space spacious grade II listed character property - sleeps 10 - It has 4 double bedrooms - one with en-suite and all main bedrooms have king sleigh beds plus 2 single bedrooms with single beds. Its one of the few properties where 6 people can have a bedroom each. All have white cotton sheets and duvet covers. And when you leave you are not expected to strip the beds!. There is a large well equipped kitchen - and a large wooden table in adjacent beamed room. Plus a smaller sitting room which has a sofa bed if required. Outside is a picnic bench and chairs so you can sit outside if sunny. I supply a welcome pack with fruit, coffee teas, crisps ( varies ) basic cooking ingredients such as oil and condiments to get you started so that you can have a rest and snack after your journey before going out shopping. The shops are close by walking distance. The shops, bars, takeaways restaurants - and even a local nightclub will be easy to find as I have put them in Mulberry Stays digital guide and house book that you get before you stay. Guest access whole house and garden - The entrance is on the high street and there is also a small carpark and walled garden at the rear suitable for up to 3 small cars. There is free offsite parking nearby and a free carpark within a short walk. Shops, restaurants and takeaways are all within a short walk. Other things to note Guests have booked Wisteria House for between 2 - 10 people ( average is 6 - and ideal if you all want your own room) There is a small carpark at the rear - It takes at the max 3 cars or small vans. You will be having the whole of the house except for the cellar and old garage which are locked for safety reasons and store cupboard - there's plenty of space available for your group to enjoy. There is likely to be some street noise ( although not all night as a town and road quiet at night and everyone is asleep ) - being listed we cannot have double glazing . It has been a family home for many years - Its quirky and interesting and I hope that you enjoy the experience of staying in a different kind of home which is authentic to its age and with modern facilities.
