The Starfish Cottage

Come rest and relax in our peaceful, coastal cottage. Tastefully decorated, self catering and equipped with everything you need while away from home. Partial sea views from the courtyard and guest's garden. Only 650m to Scottburgh Mall, 950m to Mtunzi beach, 1.1km to Scottburgh Golf Club, 2.8km to Scottburgh Main Beach. The Cottage is located on the same property as the owner's home but is free standing, spacious and very private. The space We want our guests to feel like they are at home at The Starfish Cottage. There are two comfortable bedrooms, the main bedroom is very spacious with a queen bed, a dresser/desk, 2 wardrobes, a couch and a full ensuite bathroom. It has a ceiling fan, and an air-conditioner. The second bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed, a wardrobe and a ceiling fan. The lounge is open plan with a comfortable L-shaped Coricraft couch, a 55" flat screen tv and DSTV Family channels. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you need while away from home including a double door fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven and glass stove top, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and microwave. Past the kitchen is the second bathroom with a toilet, basin and an amazing, huge skylight rain shower! Outside, off the lounge, is an enclosed and private shaded courtyard, with partial sea views and an outdoor seating area. You can braai and enjoy a meal, watch abundant birdlife during the day or the stars at night and hear the waves crashing only 500m away in this tranquil environment. Guest access The entire cottage, private shaded courtyard and back garden is just for guests. Only the driveway, entry and exit gates are shared with the main house residents. Other things to note * Strictly NO smoking allowed inside the Cottage. * Strictly NO parties or events. * No loud music or TV (please respect the peacefulness of the neighbourhood and our neighbours). * There are Vervit monkeys in the area, please do not feed them or leave unattended windows or doors open that they can enter through.
