Description

mocca is a renovated 160-year-old auberge-style house. It is built on a site of about 1,000 tsubo in the Oyama district surrounded by mountains. The original building was the residence of the "Sonoda family", who were rice merchants during the Edo period. Mocca has various aspects that allow visitors to feel close to wood, such as the accommodation building, cafe, woodworking space, and sawmill. A wooden house, the scent of wood, a place to add wood to your life, that's mocca. The accommodation building is limited to one group per day. The capacity is up to 8 people, but there are 4 beds in the bedroom. For 5 or more people, we will provide a set of futons. (5,500 yen per person) Dinner is not included. You can cook for yourself in the kitchen in the accommodation building. BBQ ingredients and hot pot ingredients can be provided upon request. Please let us know at least one day in advance if you wish. (It will be at the market price, but it is 5,500 yen per person) We do not provide breakfast. You can cook for yourself in the kitchen in the accommodation building. Alternatively, you can order from the cafe menu after 9 am, or we can provide a Japanese menu upon request. (2,200 yen per person) The space The accommodation consists of a living room with a kitchen and a bedroom that was a remodeled storage room. In the living room, please relax around the wood stove. ※ The wood stove is available from October to April. We charge 2,200 yen per night for heating. The queen size bed in the bedroom is made of cypress wood cut by the owner himself. Feel the warmth of the wood and enjoy a pleasant sleep. The bedroom is equipped with a bathroom and toilet. Relax in the spacious stone bathtub. There are 4 queen size beds in the bedrooms that can be used as double beds. The capacity is 8 people, but for 5 people or more, we will provide one set of futons per person.
