Beautiful 18th century mansion, Crupet-Namur

Our country house is located along the hills surrounding the village of Crupet. It offers our visitors a scenic view of typical 'Condroz' rolling-hills landscapes. From the kitchen with panoramic windows or from the wooden deck, you will enjoy amazing light variations. This typical condruzian house is organised on 200 square meters. On the level floor: living room around the open fire, service room, fully equipped kitchen, eating space and deck. First floor: 4 sleeping room, hall, bathroom. The space We call this typical condruzian house a "longère", meaning a house setup in lenght. The house, build in grey stones, is surrounded by a big garden with lawn and all kind of flowers all around. The south part of the house is prolonged by a wooden and stones deck with at a side an old stone BBQ. The 200 sqm property has been fully renovated in 2017 with tasteful material. At the level floor, the living room (50 sqm) organised around the open fire. All around sofas and armchairs for a nice relaxation spirit. The HD television fits into the back part of the living room. A large selection of HD movies and series with subtitles is available on a multimedia device. Various board games are stored in the drawers. High speed Internet (wi fi) is available. The living room extends to the kitchen passing thru the hallway. The owners wanted to give the kitchen a vintage/industrial style. Self-made vintage suspensions in the kitchen and in the eating space are brightening up the whole. You will not miss the eating space with the view on the rolling hills. In the evening the 'Edison-like' suspension dispenses a well appreciated subdued light. In the good season, the deck welcomes you outside for eating while watching the peaceful open landscape. From the living room, a signature staircase brings you to the first level. First the office-corridor space with on one side the bathroom with a dual place bathtub and the "Scandinavia" sleeping room with a queen size bed (160cm) . On the other side, a corridor is leading to the three other rooms: the "Tintin" room (you know, the Belgian comic reporter...) with two single beds. Then the "Argentina" sleeping room with one double bed (140cm). And finally the "Old West" sleeping room with one queen size bed (160cm). You will hopefully notice our self-made western bed... Other things to note Directions... While entering the address in some GPS (Ivoy, 5 - 5330 Maillen), you could be led to the parallel street of the hamlet. When arriving in the vicinity follow better the signs "Eglise 13eme Ivoy". The cottage is located further down the old church, to the right.
