The granite tiled ground floor houses a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area, a bathroom as well as a stylish home office and library. The kitchen is ideally equipped with modern, luxurious cookware and bake ware for all occasions. Full gas stove and oven in place. The kitchen, as well as the dining area, have direct views through a large sliding window into forest trees, stonework and one of two garden decks. The large, hardwood dining table and bench is equipped with sheep skins for extra comfort. The entire bottom floor (including the bathroom) is tiled with high quality granite-stone, non slip tiles. The bathroom has a sliding door, a beautiful granite sink and a walk in shower. The home office houses a spacious work area (for one person) in a cosy, wood beam constructed structure with a cabin feel. There is a library with literature ranging from fiction to books on the local botany and history. High ceilings ensure a feeling of spaciousness. The kitchen also houses a washing machine as well as a dishwasher. A large wood burner heats the space. The top floor is where massive windows make the magic happen. Direct views into the treetops, mountains, an immersion in forest birds, Owls at night and other wildlife make staying here incredible. A queen size bed, with top quality linen and storage capacity underneath, has direct tree top views. A stylish 2 seater leather couch has treetop, as well as sunset views - as does the open plan free standing stone bath. Watch the sunset over chapmans peak from the bath (you can also watch a movie from the bath), couch, bed, second office table or our second, top deck (which is accessed via a sliding door from the top floor) There is also a basic supply for the indoor wood burner and a surcharge beyond this. There are two decks - one sunset deck and one in the garden! Guest access Parking and an entrance to the parking is shared with the manager of the property. Access to the chalet is completely private and the unit is completely screened off from any other units and is out of view from the street.
