Heimaey, the entire "island"

The space is a small island far away from everyday life, peaceful and private magic. This home oyo was created by Thelma, a real Icelandic, who turned a 200 years old house with garden into a small seminar house and guest obey, where light, gods and elves are at home. Here you will find space: • For family celebrations, meeting friends, weddings in a small circle • As a retreat for single or couples • For checkout meetings of working groups and large families • for seminars and workshops with bodywork, dancing, dancing, meditating, cooking, writing, ... • As an idea forge, both for projects brought with you and for exploration of the surrounding area, such as permarulture and alternative horticulture. The grounds are directly adjacent to a nature reserve with meadow, forest and moor, behind which the sun sets in the evening and cranes, as well as Nebelfeen occasionally perform their dances. Floor-to-ceiling windows open from the house, so you can be in the middle of the nature even in cold months. The entrance area leads through the heatable conservatory which is equipped with large dining table and fantastic views over the terrace into the garden and to the nature reserve. The over 80m2 terrace with adjoining cozy "Remise" offers a variety of uses. In the garden, the sauna is located in a caravan and there is the possibility for campfires and crickets or to unwind in a hammock. Here, featherballs or hairdressers can fly and – all on a popular highlight – large and small jumps can be made on the huge trampoline embedded in the meadow. Children will find plenty of space to discover and romp. Heimaey offers space for new ideas and creativity, to breathe and recharge, for communication and silence. Here is a place to read, look into the distance, think, do yoga, paint, craft, sing, make music or in front of the wood stove or at the fire pit to clean up and/or celebrate. Within walking distance is a beautiful swimming lake (about 3 km), the Baltic Sea as well as the Salzhaff are easily accessible by car (20 minutes). The immediate surroundings invite you to strolls through the forest and hallway. Centrally located between Wismar and Rostock, there are numerous opportunities for excursions to the Hanseatic cities or the surrounding area. Shops in Neubukow, Neukloster or Satow can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car (by bike accordingly longer). In short: you will find an island of peace, a "gas station" where you can fill your fountain again, a place of odd magic where body, mind and soul can be unbalanced. The circus wagon "Álfheimar" is in its own universe at the edge of the property.
