The cottage is a short distance (3 min. walk) to the Salmon River & Blue Hole swimming river access, it is secluded. In the Marble Mountain, Trinity Alps Wildernesses, at confluence of the Salmon & Klamath Rivers. Fishing, rafting, hiking. Relax on the screened in porch with bar stools & counter overlooking Merrill Creek & be soothed by sounds of a breeze in trees, water flowing & birds singing. Cottage is hypoallergenic. I use Free & Clear laundry soap. No pets. Advice: Bring groceries The space The kitchen is my favorite part of the house. It is fully equipped for all kinds of cooking & baking. Amenities not listed are: coffee grinder, insulated ice bucket, table extends out, & a 6' long desk. Both day beds in the living room have 2 large pillows to lay back against, with one bed beside a window for comfortable reading or surfing the web. The free WiFi is accessible inside and outside of the cottage. Cottage is on a full acre of land for the guest's use. No buildings in sight, including my house which is a short distance up a hill. Guest access Guests can drive right up to the cottage. Enough room to turn around a couple of vehicles and park. As I said it is on a full acre with most of it open and flat. Great for star gazing, bird watching. Other things to note No pets allowed. My reasons for this are: First and foremost, for the sake of people who have allergies. 2) animals bring in ticks. 3) the road. We lost a beloved dog who was hit by a car. Also, I don't want any people to get in an accident by trying to avoid an animal. I love my dogs and cats but they are outside pets.
