The space Our house in Segnas is located above the village, 3 minutes by car from Disentis, at an altitude of almost 1,400 meters with a quiet and beautiful view. It was renovated in 2017 and expanded as a chalet. The house includes 5 bedrooms for up to 10 persons, 2 bathrooms with bathroom and shower, the modern kitchen with dishwasher and above all the spacious, light-filled living room with large dining table and the fireplace for cozy winter evenings. In front of the house entrance - with entrance - the covered terrace leads out into the garden. Discreetly behind the house, there are several car parking spaces on the property. The hiking area between Diesentis and Sedrun starts right at your doorstep, and in winter the valley run of the Disentis3000 ski resort is very close. Under normal snow conditions, the valley station of the Bergbahn on skis can be reached. Ski touring riders and cross-country skiers will also find ideal conditions here. The Sedrun-Andermatt ski area is only 12 minutes away by car. The village of Segnas, which still has 250 inhabitants, is grouped around its chapel, whose foundation dates back to the 9th century. In the village, several farm shops offer milk, butter and alpine cheese, a family business produced - also for direct sales - dried meat specialties for decades, and the Ustria Cresta is the small restaurant in the village. Next to the road connection, a footpath leads down to Disentis in twenty minutes. In Disentis with its mighty monastery, which refers to the 1400-year-old history of the place, you will find numerous restaurants, a variety of sports, tennis hall and mini golf as well as shops and shops of all kinds. The Disentis mountain railway leads you to the Caischavedra mountain station: in summer, it is the starting point for a variety of hikes, in the winter gate to the Disentis 3000 Ski Arena. Below Disentis, the Medelser Rhein and the Vorderrhein flow into each other, so from the mountain stream becomes the river, which later runs through the countryside as a wide stream. Several gold nuggets have already been found while screaming in the Vorderrhein... Bathers drive from Segnas towards Sedrun to Laj da Claus or visit the Sedrun indoor pool. If you like to bathe in Bergseen, you will also find it. On the golf course of Sedrun, even the golfers will get their money's worth. In contrast to other mountain valleys, the Surselva is open on 3 sides: towards the Unterland to Ilanz and Chur, via the Oberalp Pass to Central Switzerland and via the Lukmanier - also in winter - towards Ticino. From Segnas, you can reach the first Ticino Grotto in less than an hour in the Bleniotal. The Segnas train station is located on the route of the famous Matterhorn-Gotthard Railway, which runs all year round with panoramic wagons from Disentis via the Oberalppass to Zermatt. So the little Segnas is connected to the world in a variety of ways - although it is in the middle of the most magnificent mountains, away from the hustle of the metropolises and the hustle of everyday life. Segnas is called "signpost". In both summer and winter, it shows you the way to a rest that can fulfill body, soul and mind alike. You just need to be ready.
