Hobbitat Home Place is perfect for 2 couples who want a retreat away from the crazy day to day. 2 unique cabins nestled in the woods of western Maryland on the banks of Dunkard Lick Creek. A separate kitchen and bath unit completes the cluster. Enjoy the shared spaces and creek with friends or family. We offer these cabins in separate listings so please send inquiry to confirm availability. We welcome well behaved pets - please see other things to note about pets. It's a dog's paradise! The space Children are welcome with this booking but caution parents of toddlers as the cabins sit on a bank leading down to a creek. There is limited floor space for extra sleeping Molly has room for a cot or air mattress (we have both) and we have an area to pitch a tent for the kids. Friendly dogs are always welcome! See Other things to note for dog policy Guest access In addition to the 2 cabins and kitchen/bath unit, we have a hammock and swings in nearby trees. We also offer our outdoor fireplace in the back of our home, our outdoor shower and of course the creek complete with water chairs. Other things to note We have 2 very friendly border collies on the premises. They tend to adopt our guests. Friendly dogs are welcome. Please bring your pup's bed as we discourage dogs on the beds. Please do not leave your pup unattended, any damage to interior is guest responsibility. There is no Wifi and depending on your cell service, it can be spotty. If you need to be connected to your phone you may want to stay elsewhere. If connecting to nature is needed, this is your place!
