Nature's Pace Holidays - Corbières Gite

Corbières is our largest and most private gite in our tranquil haven, set in the Lauragais countryside. This gite is perfect for a couple or family to embrace life at a slower pace with a more sustainable holiday. We are surrounded by rolling countryside hills which creates a natural environment that allows you time to breathe, relax and enjoy shared time together. The fully equipped gite has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as its own large secluded private garden. The space Peaceful tree filled grounds offering shaded hideaways, a heated shared swimming pool, children’s playground, and private parking. An idyllic setting with lots of space to relax, to play or to use as a base. Corbières is our largest gite and can accommodate anything from a couple up to a large family. There is a double bedroom dowstiars and a large family room with double bed and space for one or two other for children. There are a further two single beds on a mezzanine. It has a large secluded garden that offer privacy and space to be together relaxing or enjoying a BBQ. You can relax with a morning coffee or head off for a walk to sample the views of the Lauragais plain stretching from the Montagne Noire to the Pyrenees. Why not head off to a local market to sample the fabulous food culture of the region. In the afternoon sit by the pool or in our gardens to read or just enjoy the view.. As the evening approaches, play babyfoot or table tennis before enjoying an evening meal using the fabulous local produce. After the sun has set, sit out and gaze at the stars to end the perfect day. If you are looking for something a bit more active, let us help you to explore the landscape by bike with rides for all standards. If it is culture you want there are many historical sites such as Carcassonne,Montelieu or Saissac. We are surrounded by natural beauty which you can enjoy; try our nearby lakes to swim, sail and picnic, canoe down a local river, or hire a boat to explore the Canal du MIdi. We are surrounded by countryside, but are easy to access with the motorway only 15 minutes away. We are close to many little villages with restaurants and bars and lots of attractions. Want a car free holiday, we can help with that as we are close to rail stations.Our aim is to provide good value holiday experiences that promote the environment, not damage it. Why not cycle to our local olive producer to sample their amazing oil and try some fascinating food pairings. Visit Revel market which has been voted one of the best markets in France for local and organic produce. Have a local meal cooked for you and delivered in your accommodation. We have lots of green space with gardens to sit and relax under the trees,and a large heated swimming pool. There is a children's play area. We also have our on site shop with local specialties, wine, beer and those little essentials. By the shop you can sit and relax under our large barn with baby foot, table tennis and 'bar' area. Each gite and tent has its own private space as well so you can sit and relax. All accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay with us All linen and towels are supplied.
