Chalet in Orford

Retreat to paradise at this gorgeous 2 bedroom chalet located in the charming and unique community Domaine Chéribourg. This will be your basecamp for enjoying the most charming experiences in the Eastern Townships. Enjoy fast wifi in the woods and work away from home, framing your meetings with biking, hiking, bird watching, spa visits, golfing & vineyards just a few minutes down the road. Snooze on our hammock, swing on our swing, relax by our fire & ride the townships on our bikes. The space The Chalet is newly renovated with walls of windows soaking the interior with light, a cozy fireplace nook for your evening cocktail, and a balcony off your bedroom for your morning coffee - all framed by a spectacular forested exterior. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, bake and host! The kitchen is small, but the dining table is large and the living area spacious. There is a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster. Air mattress available for additional sleeping area. Enjoy this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet (and an air mattress for friends) with a wood-burning fireplace ideal for warming up after a long day of skiing (cross-country or downhill), snowshoeing, biking, or hiking. There is one queen bed in each bedroom and the second bedroom also has a double futon. The chalet is surrounded by big beautiful pine trees with a glimpse of Mont Orford through the houses. We are located at the very top of the hill. A small patio area has a BBQ, and a patio table and chairs for outdoor dining. Puzzles and board games, and Netflix is provided and here for all age groups. There is also a small desk for those working away from home. One complete bathroom with shower and a bath to relax the muscles after a day in the great outdoors. A second bathroom with just a shower is on the upper level. Towels available. Parking is available for two vehicles. Bikes available for use upon request. * No shoes in the house please, no smoking, no parties. We welcome up to 2 pets (but no cats due to an allergy) Guest access Code on door keypad Other things to note Long term stays are welcome, but we do require some more information for long term guests. 1. Cleaning: We will provide all the necessary cleaning products for guests, such as a vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan, garbage bags, a cleaning bucket, cloths and require that the guests keep the space clean as they found it. The guest is also responsible for refilling any cleaning products that run out during their stay. 2. Toiletries: We will provide a package of toilet paper and paper towel, but the guests are required to replenish this as needed during their stay. 3. Firewood: We have an annual supply of firewood on the property. Should this be used up by the long term guest, they are responsible for purchasing their own firewood. 4. We do not provide regular cleanings during a long term guests stay. 5. Long term guests will be responsible for communicating with landlords (thats us!) should any maintenance be required, or any problem arise. We will set up and send the appropriate contractors to resolve whichever issue comes up. If it is due to the guests actions, the guest will pay the fee for that work. Otherwise, we will cover those costs. 6. We will arrange for regular snow removal, and inform the guest of dates/times this will happen. 7. The guest must inform us if they wish to add anything to the property (outdoor furniture, indoor furniture, art, etc).
