The Dragonfly Mud House

Welcome to The House in the Village! Come and stay in the charming and authentic village of Pëllumbas, just a 30 minute drive away from Albania’s capital Tirana. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, joyful people and the sweet sounds of singing birds you can easily relax into a natural state of being. We are most happy to meet you soon! The space Built out of natural materials, our mud houses with double bed and table offer you a unique stay surrounded by beautiful nature. Wake up in the middle of 100 fruit trees. Go on adventurous hikes to the Erzen River (25 minutes by foot) and the Cave of Pëllumbas (40 minutes by foot) or grab a book, game or instrument from our living room and spend your time in our lovely garden. Use the kitchen in the main guesthouse, the outdoor showers, the shared bathrooms with solar water heater, the big dinner table under the shadow of the fig tree, the terrace and the fire pit in the yard. We offer vegetarian/vegan breakfast (included in the price) and dinners (6 Euros per person). Also, you can make use of our laundry service for 4 Euros. Other things to note We would like to remind any potential guest that this is a natural hut, made with natural materials, and is not intended to be equipped to provide all the comforts of modern life. To mention a few, we have no electricity in the mud house (you can use the electricity in the main house if you so desire), nor do we have water inside of it, though there is a sink, 2 outdoor showers and an outdoor toilet available 5 meters outside of the hut.
