Description

The Log House is the perfect place to get away from your regular grind. It is just up the hill from Turner Bay on the east side of Lake Coeur d'Alene. The cabin sits on 7 1/2 acres and has a nice view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The Log House is about 35 minutes from Coeur d'Alene and Harrison. It is a peaceful getaway from city life. The space Our dad built the Log House in 1976, and it was our home till 1987. Since then we've used it as a summer getaway and rental. In keeping with the 70's homestead feel, we do not have wifi or cable at the Log House. The front porch is a great spot to sip coffee and read your book in the morning. There are huge windows upstairs to view the mountains and lake. In the evenings the living room is a great place to cozy up and watch a DVD from our small selection. Other things to note The upstairs of the house is one big room. The queen bed is at one end and the two twin beds are at the other end. They are separated by a little sitting area and folding room dividers for privacy. Guests have access to the main house only. Guests do not have permission to access the smaller house and other sheds. The Log House is heated with a wood stove. If you are not knowledgeable in working a wood stove, there are space heaters available.
