Originally meant to be a family vacation home and still is, though we've decided to share this beautiful hillside home to others who are on the look out for a rare find, ultra private accommodation. We have 7 full time personnel ready to service our guests. This line up includes our gardener, runner & driver, maintenance, security, housekeepers and cook who can prepare simple home-cooked Filipino breakfast. Your stay includes a delightful 1-bedroom Casita, part of our intimate exclusive collection of 2-bedroom Villas and cozy Casitas, each boasting a spacious balcony overlooking the sea. ✱ Our Common Verandah (Pool Lounge) Our communal verandah serves as a social haven exclusively for in-house guests. Here, you'll find a refreshing infinity plunge pool (3m x 7m), surrounded by tables, sun loungers, and a bar stocked with refreshing beverages. Additionally, a shared Nespresso Machine awaits on the verandah for you to use. Please remember to bring your favorite Nespresso pods. Other things to note It's worth noting that our property offers a slightly off-the-grid experience. We say so as this mountain location has no wired internet infrastructure yet. ✱ Data / Cell Signal Currently, the network signal comes and go. Same goes for data connection relying on the network signal. You can wander around the property to find spots for messages and calls while maintaining a quiet atmosphere as a courtesy to others. A new Smart cell tower (local network) is now fully operational just 100 meters from us, providing fast and reliable 5G data. If your home mobile network connects with our local Smart network, you’ll have access to a fast back up data signal during your stay—perfect for staying connected even in this remote paradise. ✱ Starlink Internet ✔ We have a dedicated Starlink dish to provide the internet to our in-house guests. Strong WiFi is available in the common hall of the Property. We added extenders to bring the WiFi connection up to the rooms. ✱ Alternative Nearby Co-Working Space There's also a humble co-working space at Lexias Hostel (short walk / 150 meters from us). Their side of the mountain has wired optic fiber connection with PLDT. Too bad this fiber connection has not been extended to our side yet. Besides using their internet, you may also dine in their restaurant called Trival (pan-Asian). ✱ Important Details about our Mountain Location Considering our elevated location and the steep road leading to this haven, we recommend guests to pre-book a self-drive car from reputable providers like Hertz or Thrifty. They have websites and dedicated kiosks at El Nido airport. The only mode of PUBLIC transportation in El Nido is Tricycle, our version of the Tuk-tuk. Due to the steep road, tricycles cannot make the climb. To reach the Property, the farthest you can travel by tricycle is up to Vanilla Beach. We provide a complimentary shuttle service between the Property and Vanilla Beach. Vanilla Beach (which is a collective of homegrown shops and restaurants) is on the main road, 3 minutes away from our Property. From Vanilla Beach going to El Nido town and vice versa, it takes about 15-20 minutes and the tricycle fare is 150 pesos (3USD) for a ride accommodating up to 3 people. Renting a motorcycle is also possible, but it's only recommended for experienced drivers who can manage to drive up and down a steep incline. Or you can park your scooters in Vanilla Beach, and let us shuttle you back to the Property. ✱ Free Shuttle Service We have an SUV that we use for various purposes such as market runs, town errands and for bringing guests to/from Vanilla beach. › The capacity is up to 4 people at a time › We can run it as frequently until midnight, advance scheduling is highly recommended. › For drop-off or pick-up services requested beyond 12 midnight, there is a fee of 200 pesos each way. If you anticipate returning late, please make prior arrangements for your pick-up › If the SUV is out, we can call our driver to make his way back, sometimes with a few minutes of wait. ✱ Back-Up Power (Generator set) It's important to know that there are frequent unscheduled power outages in El Nido. This can last from a few hours to a whole day. Good news is that we have a stand-by generator set to ensure uninterrupted comfort during these instances. ✱ Our Dedicated Team Count on our dedicated team to assist in coordinating your transfers, tours, yacht rentals, car hires, massage services, and any special requests. While you might occasionally hear the joyous sounds of zipline enthusiasts, it adds a vibrant touch to the unique atmosphere of our retreat. Zipline is open from 8am to 5pm only. ✱ Meeting Monkeys: The Philippine Long-Tailed Macaque Because we're in a natural setting away from busy areas, monkeys may drop by. There's frequent sightings usually from June to September. Rules for Everyone's Safety: › Don't stare at the monkeys; it can make them feel threatened. › Watch your belongings and food when they get close to you. › Keep a safe distance at all times. › Never touch, grab, or disturb them. Mothers are protective, and animals can be unpredictable. › Please don't feed the monkeys. The monkey population is decreasing because of habitat loss. While you can enjoy observing them from afar, it's crucial to respect their space. After all, it's their world too.
