Pickford has been listed with Airbnb for over a decade but this is our new listing. We are an affordable group destination. We’ve created this Airbnb page to fill any available dates in the coming three months. Outside of that we have a calendar through our web channel. Bookings are accepted up to three years in advance. We are popular so please book ahead! The space Pickford mansion converted from a bed and breakfast inn to a vacation rental in 2010. The property has nine beautiful bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and much more. You and your group may enjoy the entire house privately and exclusively. All the amenities of a luxury hotel are included. Wifi, TV and full bath are in each bedroom. Originally constructed in 1983, we are a Victorian style home, furnished with antiques and 1930’s decor. Pickford is located in the beautiful quiet coastal town of Cambria California. 250 miles North of Los Angeles and less than 200 miles West or South of Fresno or San Francisco. Pickford House was named after 1920's silent film star and Hollywood movie pioneer Mary Pickford. She and many more movie stars visited and spent time together at Hearst Castle in the 1920’s and 30’s. Hearst Castle is a famous tourist destination museum castle located just 8 miles North of Pickford. To celebrate these pioneer movie stars our Pickford House nine rooms have individual names and decor: Mary Pickford, Rudy Valentino, Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, Harold Lloyd, Lilian Gish, Norma Talmage, The Barrymores, and Clara Bow. Pick your favorite room! Additionally your stay comes with exclusive full use of our light-commercial kitchen, a spacious piano bar dining room, and a comfy carpeted sitting / living room. The outside grounds only have a small outdoor bbq area that seats up to 10. Pickford parking lot nicely fits up to 12 standard vehicles. Wedding parties are welcome. We are not a venue however for outdoor events due to limited exterior space. Pickford is perfect for your group to use as a home base and stay location. All your events could do very well off site at nearby locations.
