Giraffe's Rest, Self Catering Apartment

Our beautiful, newly renovated and decorated fully equipped two roomed flatlet is situated in the picturesque little town of White River within a secure, boomed-off suburb. Ideally situated for tourists to explore the surrounding areas. Perfect for business people or for parents visiting the local boarding schools. To relax, read or braai we have an enclosed patio area. We believe that we have created a warm, friendly and comfortable environment for you to spend time. Home away from home! The space Our property is situated in an enclosed, boomed off area with access control. It is attached to the main house with its own private entrance. You enter through a big gate into the patio area. Here you will find a charcoal braai, table and chairs as well as patio chairs on which to relax. The entrance to the unit is off this patio. It is a large open unit ...50 square metres. The main apartment area consists of a combined kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. You enter into the apartment via a well-equipped kitchen suitable for self-catering. It contains all the essential requirements...Fridge/Freezer, Induction plate, Kettle, Toaster and Microwave. The Main bedroom area has 2 Three quarter beds, comfortable for single sleeping or joined together with a mattress connector to create a comfortable Super Kingsize bed. There is a large cupboard space for hanging and packing clothing. The bathroom is a good size and has a large walk-in shower. The lounge area has 2 comfortable leather couches and a TV with DSTV and Netflix. You will also have access to our Fibre Wi-Fi. There is a desk for additional workspace. An additional room is available via an interleading door. This room is equipped with 2 sleeper couches which fold out into 2 comfortable three-quarter beds. There is a flat screen TV with DSTV and Netflix. The bathroom is shared and accessible via the Main bedroom area. This makes it more suitable for a family with children. This room also has a Dining table should you prefer to eat indoors. No need to fear the Mpumalanga heat here...there is a large air conditioner in the Main area and additional fans in the second bedroom. We also have a Battery/ Invertor should there be a power failure. Restaurants and shopping areas are all within close proximity and we are more than happy to offer advice should it be needed. Guest access You will have access to the main driveway and the unit. Other things to note We do have pets. Roxy and Chase are our 2 medium sized dogs. They do not have access to the driveway entrance and the unit. They are well socialised but as dogs do, may bark on your arrival if we are not around, as well as at happenings in the enclosure. We do not recommend drinking the tap water, so water is provided for drinking, boiling and cooking.
