The space The rooms on offer are part of our heritage guest house, designed to immerse you in the atmosphere of a traditional aristocratic home. While the structure retains the soul of the early 1900s—featuring wooden ceilings, brass-studded doors, and cool terracotta floors—the interiors have been thoughtfully updated to include modern amenities. You will enjoy the comfort of air-conditioning and spacious, contemporary ensuite bathrooms with glass-partitioned rain showers and even an open shower. These updates were made without compromising the vintage aesthetic, ensuring you experience the best of both worlds: the charm of the past and the comforts of the present. All rooms are double occupancy; for 4 guests we provide 2 bedrooms. Guest access Each room opens onto a private balcony overlooking the central courtyard. Guests are welcome to relax in the courtyard, the dining-cum-living area, and the lush grounds surrounding the guest house. We invite you to explore the estate's agricultural roots. You can visit the vegetable garden, which is lovingly maintained by the local community. In a separate section of the property, you can also view the innovative horticulture plots managed by Nimal, an award-winning young farmer. Guests also have access to the garden and the exterior of the main 1939 building to soak in the cinematic history. Other things to note The estate is spiritually significant to our family. Sree Vishnumaya Swami and Sree Karinkutty Swami have temples dedicated to them next to the house. These deities were brought here by our ancestors when they moved to Chavakkad over 300 years ago. You will also find a large pond in the compound. It is a remnant of the old canal system used to transport the building materials for the estate nearly a century ago.
