The comfortable apartment with private parking place is situated on the top floor of a chalet in a quiet part of the village with a bakery, supermarket and some restaurants/bars. Ideal situated to make a hike into the mountains, to ski or either to go to lake Geneva to visit Evian or the swiss cities Laussanne, Montreux and Geneva. The balcony faces south, so the whole day enjoying the sun. With stunning views over the mountains purely enjoy nature and relaxation. The space The duplex apartment is situated in Thollon les Memises (920 m), in one of the chalet-style apartment buildings of a small residence. The apartment has a private outside parking place and is situated at the second floor of the building. On the groundfloor of the apartment you will find a toilet, a bathroom with shower, sink and washingmachine, the kitchen and a sitting area with a balcony. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed and in the other bedroom with 2 single beds. A fromagerie, two grocery stores and several restaurants are within 1 kilometer from the apartment There are no direct neighbours on the front- as well on the backside of the building. Because of this there is a free view and is there is much privacy. The apartment sleeps up to 4 people. The layout is as follows: Hall, bathroom, separate toilet, an entirely arranged kitchen, living room with dining area and sitting area. Second floor: Two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a double bed, the second bedroom contains three single beds. The surface amounts to 55 square meters. Furthermore there is a balcony over the complete width of the living room. The apartment faces south and receives sun in the morning till the end of the afternoon. There are views to the mountains (the Memises) and a natural basin. The apartment is equipped with all the facilities. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave/oven, a television and a music installation. Other things to note Telecabine : Obviously open for the skiing season, but in the summer it is open daily in July & August; and Wednesdays and the weekends in May, June & September, depending on the weather. Check the times at the telecabine station. Supermarkets : There are large supermarkets in Evian (Casino), Amphion (Super U), Lugrin (Intermarche), and Vinzier (Super U). There is a hypermarket (Cora) on the main road between Evian and Thonon. In the village itself, there are two small supermarkets (Sherpa) which are handy for daily provisions. Markets : Evian – Tuesday & Friday mornings Thonon – Monday & Thursday mornings Saint Paul – Sunday mornings in June to September Thollon – Thollogand – Thursday evenings in July & August Petrol : The Super U in Vinzier and Intermarche at Lugrin have petrol filling stations (both 10km), Diesel is ‘gazole’.
