Welcome to【Minamo】, an old traditional house built in the center of the historical townscape area of Ukiha City, which was opened from July 17, 2022, and has been there for 100 years. Ukiha is a town that has been supported by the power of two great bodies of water, and we chose the name【Minamo】to express our desire to use water as a keyword and our hope that this initiative will spread like ripples on the surface of water. The space We have prepared 4 differently designed guest rooms in the only rat-plaster style wooden building standing in the tasteful white-walled townscape, a former residence built over 100 years ago by a landowner who made his living from rapeseed oil and wax tree. The house is located in the "Chikugo-Yoshii Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings", where town layouts dating back to the Edo period and scenes from the Meiji and Taisho periods remain strong.
