Guest access Guests can access the river waterfront from a footpath ( 15 feet only ) leading left to the water in front of the Studio apartment's private balcony. This is also the kayak and canoe (provided) launching area. The dock on the water is also for the exclusive use of Le Petit Castor guests. It is just to the right and below the balcony. The garden area to the south side of the house is the owners private space. Other things to note During winter conditions (generally late October - mid March) this property is only accessible by all-wheel drive vehicles. Please note that the Gatineau River has a strong current and river conditions can change rapidly.Caution and respect of this beautiful waterway are a must at all times. Two kayaks, a canoe, life jackets , oars and paddles for guest use are provided. Use of these and any water activities in general are at the sole responsibility of the guest.
