Casa Elenina is a charming cosy mansard located in Gravedona - one of the most beautiful places at Como lake. It’s a 2-room apartment (1 bedroom and a spacious living room) with a balcony. We can boast spectacular views of the lake and the mountains and also a quiet location in town. Restaurants, bars, supermarket and public parking facilities are just a quick walk. The beach is a 5-7 min walk. Casa Elenina is fully furnished and equipped with necessary devices. The bedroom has got a modern air-conditioner. The living room has a modern portable air-conditioner and a roof ventilator. There’s a nice small balcony with a table and 2 chairs to enjoy the views in the open air. We can accommodate families with the little ones (we’ve got a proper crib and dining chair placeable at request). A convertible sofa in the living room serves as a second bed if you arrive in 3 or 4. Gravedona is a place that tackles both cultural and leisure aspects A number of historical sights are right here, a 13th century church or Gallio Palace to name a few. Another option is definitely mountains, walking/biking/hiking - pick your own. Several crotto (traditional local food restaurant) are up there. You can relax at the Serenella beach which is some 5-minute walk. You can travel any place across the lake with Como public boat service - Gravedona station is 350 meters from Casa Elenina. For those keen on sports there’s a sports center with tennis courts and a sports club Ai Platani a 2-min drive. Those jogging will love the route along the lake. Some beautiful world famous villas like Villa Carlotta or Villa del Balbianello are 20-min drive. Also you can travel to Switzerland - Lugano is 45-50 min drive. Please note some important details before booking: Casa Elenina is a mansard type and has a beam crossing it in the middle which lowers height to 1.57m exactly where the beam goes. You can see it in the pictures. The bedroom has a sloping ceiling. Mansard is 3rd floor with no lift available so mind you will need to use the stairs. According to local regulations each guest will be required to provide a copy of the passport or ID for proper guest registration at local authorities (ministries)
