The thatched roof is a rare masterpiece of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Twenty-seven years ago, when the building was constructed, 300 bales of local "bamboo charcoal" were installed on the ceiling, walls, and under the floor. We hope you enjoy a refreshing morning in this environment filled with bamboo charcoal, which is famous for its detoxifying effects. **Traditional futon mattresses are available for guests (room 1 → 2 futons, room 2 → 2 futons, room 3 → 1 futon) **Kitchen with a very small dining table, portable BBQ grill and utensils. Cellular signal Wifi only. ** The closest convenience store is 30 minutes away, we recommend that you do your shopping in Kusu-town or Handa Kogen prior to your arrival. ** Broadcasts from the town hall to the residents can be heard three times a day. (time signal, music, chimes, announcements of local events, etc.) From the tone of voice and the fact that it is not an alarm, I believe we can determine that it is not an emergency evacuation order. Always watch for your group when out on the deck or trails. We are not responsible for any injuries.
