The tourist tax must be paid on site. The space The interior of the house is cozy and comfortable, with a modern and functional design. The house is spread over two floors, with a total area of approximately 100 m². On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living area with a dining room and a charming wood-burning fireplace equipped with vents to distribute heat to the upper bedrooms, ideal from autumn to spring. An electric heating system is also available for maximum comfort. The TV room offers a relaxing environment with an armchair, sofa bed, and Wi-Fi access. Available channels include: -National and international channels -Sports and Premium channels -Netflix and other on-demand content The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils and features a traditional oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and moka pot. A practical counter with two bar stools completes the kitchen area. Adjacent to the kitchen, there is a utility room with a washing machine, iron, drying rack, and cleaning supplies. A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor, where the bathroom has a spacious shower. The two bedrooms offer comfortable beds, large wardrobes, and relaxing views of the surrounding nature. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other has two single beds that can be joined if needed. A cot and high chair are available on request. Outside, you will find a garden with two sun loungers and a comfortable sofa, perfect for relaxing in the open air. The veranda is ideal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner surrounded by nature and is equipped with an electric awning for shade during the hottest hours. A barbecue and all necessary accessories are available. The house is easily accessible, with two parking spaces a few meters away and a garage exclusively for motorcycles and bicycles. Guest access The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for both summer and winter excursions. There are endless possibilities to enjoy the beauty of nature through panoramic walks and outdoor activities all year round – also ideal for MTB tours or e-bike rides. At the summit of the Monti di Medeglia, there is an area used by model airplane enthusiasts and paragliders. The rustic house is just a 10-minute drive from Rivera, where you can find restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, hairdressers, a post office, and local attractions such as Monte Tamaro, Splash & SPA, and a riding stable. Rivera is also home to the SBB train station and the motorway entrance. Its central location in Ticino makes it easy to reach any destination: towards Lugano-Mendrisio-Chiasso or Bellinzona-Locarno-Biasca-Valle Maggia-Valle Verzasca. In the village of Medeglia, reachable in 20 minutes on foot or a few minutes by car, there is a restaurant-bar and a small shop with basic necessities.
