Mekong Cruiser leaves Luang Prabang at 06:30 for a cruise up the Mekong to Pakbeng. A continental breakfast is served while the boat is cruising to Pak Ou Village, at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, where you will visit Tam Thing Caves of a Thousand Buddha. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board. Arrive at Pakbeng around sunset and check-in at Le Grand Pakbeng Resort. Dinner is served on the terrace overlooking the Mekong. -Day 2: From Pakbeng – Houay Xay (Breakfast/Lunch) at 07:00, board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. En route one stop is made to observe rural life along the Mekong and minorities. Lunch on board and then continue to Houei Say where you will arrive around 17:00 (you may proceed to Chiang Rai on the same day.)
