Whether your stay is for sports, relaxation, friendship or business, you will find what you are looking for. The space Welcome to the tour of Le Clos de Mon Père, Let me guide you. You are probably puzzled when you arrive in front of the gate in the middle of a commercial area. It's hard to imagine the stay you've dreamed of so much here. Yet, when you enter the enclosure, you will no longer have any doubts. Once you've crossed the gate, on your left, a parking lot awaits you to forget about your car. On occasion it will make an excellent pétanque court. At the end of the driveway, lined with a long hedge and majestic fir trees, you will discover the southern-style house. This was my father's house. He loved work, nature, tennis and entertaining his friends. His favorite tree was the blue cedar. That's it, the scene is set. For your comfort, we have spent two entire years renovating the house, pool and tennis. The house is equipped with reversible heat pump heating in air conditioning in all living rooms. We have been particularly attentive to energy savings, upgrading, but also to modernism and design. Enter through the large glass door that gives access to the billiard room. At the back of it, a surprising fresco makes you think that the armchair-cars are going through the wall. On your left, the bar fitted with a Tata truck grille is equipped with two small refrigerators, a dishwasher, an oven and a beer tap. The projection room is located in the continuation of the bar with home cinema and large screen. You will enjoy it in resolutely decorative and particularly comfortable armchairs. Go upstairs, on the right you will discover a large living and dining room of 75 m² with a magnificent oak and glass table. In the extension, the fireplace area and its cozy sofas, further on the TV area with a wall screen and its connected Smart TV system. Retrace your steps to reach the kitchen and its industrial style. You will prepare meals for 14 people, with 1 large refrigerator, 1 dishwasher, 3 ovens including a microwave, 1 large stove top, 1 coffee machine with coffee beans to grind, 1 citrus juicer, 1 kettle, 1 soda stream, 1 complete cookware set, branded dishes… It's time to discover the six bedrooms, all in different and refined styles. Start with those upstairs, first the Zeus bedroom and its 160 x 200 cm bed. Its balcony overlooks the park and sometimes allows you to see the squirrels. It has a large bathroom or, should I say, a cave equipped with a bathtub with its skylight, shower and toilet. On the other side of the landing you enter the Nautilus room. Once through the door, memories of Jules Verne's books resurface with the four bunk beds in an underwater design, the giant nautical map and the airlock to the world of the abyss. Hidden behind the map, the bathroom is equipped with a shower-lamp and a toilet. The other bedrooms await you on the ground floor. Opposite the living room, the Azur bedroom has a 160 x 200 cm bed. The view is ideal for tennis enthusiasts. From its small bathroom, get ready for a dip in Lake Aiguebelette! Return to the hallway, on your left is the ground floor bathroom, modern and yet with a little air of "like in the old days". Further on is the Liège room with two adjustable 90 x 200 cm beds. We will prepare it to your liking: one large bed or two small beds. Remember to let us know when booking. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. Further on you will see the small office area for the "restless". Fancy a night under the stars without setting a foot outside? The Baldaquin room awaits you. The carpenter let his imagination run wild. Once the bed was finished, he made himself the same one. I'll leave it at that. The bed is 180 x 200 cm. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with door, which should not be forgotten to close. The last bedroom, Savane, is accessible via the Baldaquin bedroom or from the outside. Like the Liège room, it has two 90 x 200 cm beds. Likewise, please specify the configuration you want. Upon your arrival the beds will be made. You will have two towels per person, a bath towel, a shower mat and a bathrobe. I suggest you go back outside. In the fully enclosed one-hectare park, you will enjoy absolute tranquility and the children will frolic with peace of mind. Visit the pool now. It is sheltered in an independent building, very glazed, with dry stone walls and with an exposed wooden frame. The pool measures 11 m x 5.2 m with a depth of 1 m to 2.6 m. You will have enough to do laps in heated water from April to October. Be careful, children and average swimmers will need to be watched especially. And because two protections are better than one, the lockable building and the electric shutter make the pool inaccessible when it cannot be monitored. On the other side of the house, head to the tennis court and its training wall. You can warm up at dawn and your less courageous partners, those who could not leave their cozy beds, will have to worry about the tournament of the day. A basketball hoop or ping-pong table will allow for other fierce competitions. Did you notice the bamboos at the back of the park? Well seen, it is here that our visit ends for a moment of serenity. But I can't leave you without also saying a few words about what awaits you outside this place. You will never have enough of a week to discover and enjoy the local heritage, lakes, mountains and many leisure activities. A few minutes' drive away, you can enjoy the emerald waters of Lake Aiguebelette or the turquoise waters of Lake Paladru. The region is a paradise for cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers, for canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, via ferrata, climbing, canyoning, paragliding, kneeboard, water skiing, wakeboarding... The magic of the Chartreuse mountain range will enchant you whether you are active or contemplative. The youngest will be able to enjoy the many attractions and shows of Walibi Park and many museums will satisfy amateurs, such as the Woodworking Machine Museum, the Cave Bear Museum, the Aosta Archaeological Museum, Avressieux Castle… Chambéry, Annecy, Grenoble, Lyon are quickly accessible, awaiting you for beautiful day trips. Talk soon, For the best at Clos de mon Père, Franck Other things to note The building where the pool is located cannot be heated, so it is only available from April to October. We can only keep the water between 26° and 29° depending on the outside temperature. Outside of summer, its use is very dependent on the weather.
