Let our quaint cabin in the woods serve as a home away from home during your relaxing vacation this summer in Maine. The cabin is located at the end of a private road with access to a pristine area of the lake. Featuring 1 bedroom and a low ceiling loft and living room with a sofa bed, there is plenty of space for your family and friends to enjoy this peaceful Maine lake. Only 2 hours from Acadia National Park and 1.5 hours from the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. The space Our quaint cabin offers a tastefully decorated master bedroom with a memory foam queen bed, low ceiling loft with a queen sized memory foam bed and living room with a sofa bed - perfect for a group of up to 6 friends or family to enjoy! As soon as you arrive, you will drive down a serene private path leading to your weekend getaway! You will then enter into our renovated cabin with shiplap walls and the original refinished hardwood floors. The kitchen is equipped with all of the necessary essentials including antique appliances! After dinner, there is plenty of space to sit around the table and enjoy a card game or watch a movie on the flat screen TV and DVD player. Outside the cabin you’ll enjoy the many amenities we have to offer - spend your mornings on the private deck with a fresh cup of coffee or take a kayak or canoe ride along the shore watching the loons swim around beside you! In the afternoon, you could spend the day full of swimming and fishing from the shoreline or our canoe/kayaks. Then return home to cook a delicious barbecue meal on the gas grill. After dinner, enjoy sunset while building a campfire to roast marshmallows and share a few beverages with your companions. Finally after a long day you’ll want to escape to your beds where you’ll be sure to wake up refreshed after a full nights sleep in order enjoy all that the lake has to offer the next day! Guest access Our guests will have access to the swimming beach, kayaks, life jackets, paddle board and Gas grill All water activities are at your own risk! If guests use the kayaks, canoe or paddle board, the law is they must have life jackets with them and children must wear life jackets in the boat at all times! Other things to note Unfortunately not suitable for pets. No smoking allowed in the cabin or on the property!
