Welcome to Blue Shells, Margate our colourful 2 bed cottage with seaside vibes. After exploring Margate Old Town, beach walks or a lovely lunch...come back & relax in a calming space. Renovated with a cute kitchen, decked & private garden, lounge, super comfy kingsize & two single beds. We have a dishwasher/washer/dryer & coffee machine and a brand new gorgeous walk-in shower. Perfect for a family / two couples/friendship group, we are dog friendly. Garden is fully fenced. Wifi throughout. The space Blue Shells Cottage is our own holiday home which we've put our heart & soul into renovating to create a lovely comfortable home from home for our own family as well as our guests. As you walk through the front door you'll be greeted with a cheery seaside retreat, themes of blue & pink decor to create a calm, restful feel. *Lounge/Diner* Comfortable seating with plenty of cushions and throws, two sofas and a curved stool which can be used to prop your feet on our sit down. The TV is a Smart TV and you can log onto your various apps/TV streaming services such as Netflix. The dining table sits 4 people and perfect for a meal or a board game. In the oak sideboard next to the table you'll find plates and bowls, plus cookery books and a couple of board games for your use. *Kitchen* The compact kitchen is surprisingly spacious, lots of work surface and cleverly laid out. Full size fridge (with a small freezer), full size oven, 4 ring hob, compact dishwasher + a washer/dryer. We've really enjoyed pulling the kitchen together and making the most of the space. Perfect space for cooking a meal or rustling up a sandwich. Cutlery stored in the secret compartment under the work surface. We do supply a high chair for our younger guests, as well as children friendly plates/bowls. *Garden* A lovely quiet little haven after the hustle and bustle of Margate. The high fencing provides a private space, with sunny and shady spots, fully decked and we have garden seating for 4. On a summer's evening we just love sitting out here with a glass of wine and breathing in the sea air. The garden is fully secure for pets and children. *Bathroom* A rainfall shower and a second shower head if you don’t want to get your hair wet. Small sink and toilet. The lovely pink tiles make this space feel warm and happy. *Master Bedroom* We love our French ornate bed - it inspired much of the rooms interiors plus it's king-size and has a super comfy mattress. The room centres around the gorgeous, romantic bed, with lots and lots of sunshine beaming into the room. There is a chest of drawers and plenty of hanging space + shelving. We also provide a travel cot + travel cot mattress (please bring your own baby bedding). *Twin Bedroom* Two beds, separate space between them. A lovely room with hanging space and small drawers. The beds are full size single beds, with Laura Ashley bed frames - which are very strong and sturdy. This room works for two children, two teenagers or two adults. Free on street parking (subject to availability - usually spaces though). Guest access Full access to house - all rooms accessible to guests - and the very private garden. There is a cellar and we ask guests to avoid entering due to step and uneven steps. Other things to note Dogs welcome (maximum of 1 per booking, small to medium breeds only). Please let us know when booking. PETS We welcome your dog/s at an additional minimum fee of £20 to cover extra cleaning. Please ensure the pets box is ticked when selecting the number of guests, and message me in advance with the details of your pet (type/breed/age). Please kindly consider my house rules if you bring your dog/s. - Dogs must be well behaved and house trained. - Dogs must be strictly kept off the soft furnishings. - Any fouling on premises must be cleared up without delay. - Muddy paws should be cleaned before allowed in the house. - Dogs must NOT be left alone in the property.
