Built in 2018 and owner-managed, we're welcoming you with an enhanced personalized experience. With us, you're not merely renting a vacation property - you're arriving home to thoughtfulness in every detail. It's our sincere pleasure to host you and we're committed to helping you create memories for a lifetime, year after year after year. The space Blue Clear Sky is the home to countless honeymoons, romantic anniversaries, weekend getaways, family vacations, milestone birthdays, quiet escapes and annual excursions. Our goal is to be the home you call home in the Smoky Mountains. Originally built in 2004, we lost Blue Clear Sky in the Smoky Mountain wildfires in late November, 2016. While certainly tragic, we were able to reimagine, rebuild and reopen our Tennessee Mountain Home for a new beginning. Maintaining the same footprint, we personally redesigned the layout of Blue Clear Sky, adding character to the ceilings and creating a loft-style open feeling while preserving the feel of a luxury log cabin. You won't see any "artwork" in Blue Clear Sky, as we wanted to let the unique character of the cabin's craftsmanship showcase itself. Our favorite features are the floor-to-ceiling windows spanning end-to-end and the blue-flame outdoor fireplace and trickling water that cascades into the mantel. You'll see subtle touches of 'blue' throughout as we pay tribute to our namesake and highlight the blue skies over the spectacular vistas of the Sevierville valley below, far and wide. Essentials: High-speed wireless internet; cable tv; indoor & outdoor fireplaces; hot tub; outdoor gas grill; panoramic views all around. Bedroom: Adjustable King bed with luxury-soft linens, a soaking tub with gorgeous views while you relax, dresser & large mirror; 55" Smart TV w/ cable and a closet with shelves and moveable luggage rack. On-suite bathroom: Large walk-in shower, vanity with granite countertops, large ultra-soft bath towels and amenities. I personally supply the linens and towels to ensure a higher level of premium quality and comfort. Our linens and towels are commercially cleaned and exclusive to Blue Clear Sky (ie. they are not interchanged amongst other properties serviced by the same cleaning company). Bathroom #2: Step-in shower, pedestal sink, towels. Kitchen: Fully equipped with food storage pantry and all the 'wares' -- dinnerware, glassware, silverware, cookware & bakeware. Granite countertops with full-size stainless Whirlpool appliances that include French-door refrigerator & freezer w/ ice-maker, dishwasher, oven/range, microwave. We also supply a toaster, blender, waffle iron, slow cooker, immersion blender, cast iron skillet & Dutch oven, utensils, mixing bowls, cheese grater, pizza paddle & pizza cutter, serving dishes and even some large pasta bowl/plates for those romantic dinners inside and plastic dinner trays for care-free meals on the deck. Dining area: Large wooden table with four chairs and a bench that could be added if you have friends over for dinner or games. Living room: Sofa, loveseat & recliner, coffee & end tables. The sofa sleeper makes a comfortable queen bed (same quality luxury-soft linens). The 55" Smart TV & sound bar are enclosed in the walnut fireplace casing. Just open the doors and your music and tv entertainment await. TV has a plethora of Xfinity cable and music channel options and easy access to your Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. Sound bar is Bluetooth enabled and can connect to your personal devices with pandora, SiriusXM, Spotify, PrimeMusic, etc. Added Bonus: We are fully connected by Amazon Alexa Echo Dots -- all you have to do is ask, "Hey Alexa..." Laundry & Closets: Behind the double barn doors, you'll find the stacked full-size GE washer & dryer. In the entrance area is a coat/shoe closet with a few back-up supplies should you need anything. Coffee Cart: We know coffee lovers can be particular about how you get your coffee... so we've got your back. Our "BCS Coffee Cart" includes a 12-cup filter coffee maker, Keurig machine, Nespresso maker, a stainless steel French press and an electric coffee grinder. We even supply regular and decaf coffee, a few K-cups & Nespresso pods, sweeteners and creamers. BYOB - Bring Your Own Beans for the grinder! Guest access You'll be the only guests on the property. You'll see an exterior staircase on the side of the cabin that leads to a separate, unfinished lower level that is for storage only; not for guest use.
