On the doorstep of the Bay of Fires, St Helens MTB Trails and the Pyengana Valley, the Old Headmasters House is perfect for your next getaway. The space Over 100 years old, our beautifully restored homestead was originally the Headmasters House for St Helens District School. Now a glorious guest house, we invite you to come and unwind amongst our curated collection of antiques, curios and artworks. With 5 bedrooms - three with private ensuite bathrooms - our home is well suited to large groups wishing to reconnect and make lifelong memories. Imagine spending your days around the pool and your evenings by the toasty wood heater. Pick yourself up a Tasmanian pinot & cheese board from one of the local providores and enjoy sharing fabulous food and conversation into the wee hours. Please note the pool is not heated. Our home has everything you need for a memorable stay including all linen, an initial supply of soaps and coffee etc as well as a well equipped kitchen if you choose to stay in for the evening. Also - the bedrooms will be unlocked according to the number of guests who have booked. So please ensure the correct number of guests are advised at the time of booking to avoid disappointment when you arrive. If 2 guests are booked: 1 queen bed + 1 ensuite bathroom If 3 - 5 guests are booked: 2 bedrooms will be available: Bed 1 = queen bed + ensuite, Bed 2 + queen bed + single bed + ensuite If 6 - 9 guests will have access to three bedrooms and three bathrooms: Bed 1 = queen bed + ensuite, Bed 2 + queen bed + single bed + ensuite, Bed 3 = Queen bed + 2 single beds + detached bathroom If 10 - 11 guests are booked will have access to 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms including Bed 4 which has 2 single beds. If 12 - 13 guests are booked you will have access to all 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a total of 4 x queen beds, 5 single beds and 4 bathrooms. These bedding configurations cannot be changed so please take this in to account when making your booking - eg - if you require 3 bedrooms, please book for a minimum of 6 guests. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and pool area according the number of guests booked. The first two guests will have access to our queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom. 3 - 5 guests will have access to two bedrooms and two bathrooms (Bed 1 = queen bed + ensuite, Bed 2 + queen bed + single bed + ensuite). 6 - 9 guests will have access to three bedrooms and three bathrooms (Bed 1 = queen bed + ensuite, Bed 2 + queen bed + single bed + ensuite, Bed 3 = Queen bed + 2 single beds + detached bathroom). If 10 - 11 guests are booked will have access to 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms including Bed 4 which has 2 single beds.
