Upon arrival, after driving along a mountain road, you will find yourself surrounded by nature. Please note that in the last kilometer, the roadway narrows twice due to work in progress. The house has 3 bedrooms: a living area with a comfortable sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is on the ground floor next to the games room with: billiards, ping pong, darts. In the private garden, you will find the hot tub with whirlpool (extra service by reservation), the BBQ, and everything for relaxation. The space In this restored mountain pasture, keeping faith with the historical restoration and its peculiarities, you can experience the mountain life of the past, a place safe both from the heat, in summer, thanks to its portentous architecture, and from the cold, in winter, thanks to the wood stoves, which contribute to making you experience the typical atmosphere of the place. In the house next to yours are us: Livia and Giuseppe with the cat Pupi. We are at your complete disposal throughout your stay at Case Poggio, but the degree of interaction will depend on you. Know that we can give you all the information you need to discover the most beautiful and secret places in the surroundings! In the house you will find everything you need: - A fully equipped kitchen; - A games room with a pool table. - Fine cotton or linen sheets, hand-embroidered; - Kettles, cups and a selection of teas; - A bathroom complete with towels, toilet paper, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer that can be used by those who sleep on the sofa bed in the living room or in the "Herbs" and "Roots" rooms. A steep wooden staircase will lead you to the attic with a double bed and where you can add a single bed. This room has an en-suite bathroom. Guest access Upon your arrival, we will welcome you. All outdoor spaces are at your disposal, we will only pass in case of maintenance. To access the upper floor, where the rooms and the living area are located, we will ask you to take off your shoes because the wood flooring is the original, which we have recovered with so much love and effort, which is why we ask you to help us preserve it as it deserves, not to mention all the benefits of walking barefoot on wood! Other things to note Thanks to the historical restoration work that has transformed an ancient mountain pasture into a refuge full of art, at Case Poggio you can: - Take refuge in the rooms overlooking the sea, land and sky, to enjoy their silence and really rest; - Use the whole house to read a book, play guitar or listen to good music; - Feel free to socialize with us, Livia and Giuseppe, as well as decide to enjoy your solitude or the company of those who accompany you on this experiential journey; - Lose your gaze in the greenery simply by looking out the windows; - Prepare and enjoy your coffee; - Explore the area in search of ancient paths, wild animals, breathtaking views; - By reservation, and with a contribution of 35 euros per hour, take a bath in the heated Swedish tub at sunset. And if you want to add an aperitif, with a contribution of 15 euros per person, you can enjoy the view and the warmth of the tub with a glass of wine in your hand, savoring local products; - In addition to this, much more, but we also want to leave room for your imagination as a seasoned traveler.
