In Hygge Hus, children can simply be children: on the large playground (3 min walk from Hygge Hus) they can romp to their heart's content while the parents watch the table relaxed. Traveling with your baby or toddler? A crib is ready for you. Hardly any other region of Germany is so characterized by the fascinating interaction of clouds, waves and wind as North Frisia. The region stands for quality of life, deceleration and recreation. Worth seeing is the romantic town of Tønder (10 mins from Hygge Hus). Many like to use the nearby town for shopping and visit the antique dealers, e.g. in Tønder or Møgeltønder. Hjerpsted beach (18km from Hygge Hus) is a romantic beach located behind Højer and not far from Rømø. From here you have a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea and in good weather direct views of Sylt and Rømø. The island of Rømø with one of the longest sandy beaches in Europe is just around the corner. The Danes have a word for luck: hygge. We have the hyggehus. Hygge comes from Danish means as much as "coziness" or "security". Hygge makes the Danes the happiest people. Hygge(hus) is good for everyone! What makes Sylt so special? Sylt is the island of contrasts. Thatched roof houses on small warften, narrow streets and endless sandy beaches, Wadden Sea and heathlands. Take excursions to the island of Sylt, then enjoy the day on the island and in the evening take the train via Hindenburgdamm back to the mainland to the cozy Hygge Hus. The last one leaves the island back to the mainland at 1:00 am. (From the island to Klanxbüll station only about 15 minutes by train).
