Welcome to our beautiful home! Enjoy comfort and charm in our three-bedroom home—perfect for families or groups. You'll have a fully stocked home-chef kitchen, open living/dining area, & a peaceful backyard to relax in. This isn’t just a rental—it’s our home. A space we’ve filled with love, comfort, & the essentials to help you feel right at home. Our neighbors are friendly and look out for one another, & we’re close to Oakland’s best culture, food, & sights. We look forward to hosting you! The space Because this is our actual home, it’s filled with our energy and essentials! It’s well-stocked but not cluttered—you’re welcome to use anything in sight, and we just ask that you treat everything with care. That said, drawers and closets contain our personal items—this isn’t a blank, soulless Airbnb. You’re getting the real home experience! Don’t worry, though—there’s still space for you to unpack and settle in (just a bit less in the floral-wallpapered middle bedroom, which is our primary). Most of the house is beautifully lived-in, and we hope it feels like home to you too. We want your stay to be full of comfort and joy. The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meals or gourmet cooking—complete with cookbooks, a KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix, and a Cuisinart. There are instruments, an art nook with a sensory swing (300 lb limit!), baby and kid toys/books, a Stokke highchair (baby insert available), first-aid and beauty supplies, and even kids’ bikes and scooters to borrow! Please note: We are a shoes-off home and kindly ask guests to respect that. The backyard is a favorite: enjoy a deck with seating and a gas grill, shaded lounge, hammock, kids' climbing tower, water table, rope swing, and a garden with fresh herbs and veggies. We have 24 fruit trees—feel free to harvest what’s ripe! FYI: The backyard is shared with our friendly tenant in the back cottage (he has a private entrance, and no house access). Guest access Entire home and backyard. The garage is locked and off limits. Street parking is safe and ample! Other things to note Please remember this is our actual home, and sharing it with you is a true gift. We kindly ask you to treat it with the same care as your own. Some bedroom closets and dressers contain our personal belongings.
