Kārkliņi was built in 1892 Kārkliņi were wealthy farmers who owned a horse stable, as well as cows, pigs and other animals as they were an integral part of the farm at the time! In 1979 the house was bought from Kārkliņi by my grandmother Zigrīda Stungure who was once a brilliant actress at the Daile Theater, She and her husband Jānis used the house as a summer's residence In 2013 I took over Kārkliņi. For the past 10 years, I have returned the house to its original form as it was in 1920 The house is surrounded by countryside, forests and hills, hidden from view. 86 km from Riga and 12 km from Cesis. The house was built in 1892 and was renovated in 2015. Beds There are two double beds and two single beds in Kārkliņi Up to 6 people will feel comfortable in the house, we can put 4 more people on mattresses for larger events or parties. The house has 3 rooms (one walk-through) totaling 100m2 we can also accommodate more people during the summer months. For a long stay the house has a fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator. The house has a fully equipped bathroom with a WC and a hot shower Bed sheets are provided for guests upon arrival. It is advisable to pack up your own towels, but if not, the towels can be rented for a separate one-time fee of 1.5 € per towel. The summer terrace with games, swimming gear and other entertainment is available at an additional cost. The price depends on the number of days of stay and the number of people. Ask for a price in person. If the hot tub is rented, the summer terrace is free.
