Newly remodeled 1044 sf. south-facing Mammoth Bigwood condo! You may never want to leave this clean, sophisticated 1 bed +loft/2 ba retreat even though ski, golf & Village are all within 5 min drive...With an environmentally friendly pellet stove, designer decor (West Elm, CB2, PB, etc.) including quartz countertops, marble backsplash as well as brand new floors, fixtures, appliances AND a garage! Bigwood condo also features a recently renovated community pool, spa, BBQ as well as laundry room. The space I have thoroughly enjoyed designing this space to be a relaxing retreat for all who prioritize self-care, self-compassion and/or want an escape from the "city life." Bigwood condo is a quiet, serene place and is suitable for families, couples, as well as professionals, so please no parties or loud noise. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, dishes, utensils, etc.) as well as three queen beds (and the sofa can be pulled out to be a full-size bed). The entire unit is heated by the pellet stove (which is controlled by thermostat and instructions/pellets are provided) including the ability of the upstairs loft windows to be opened. The downstairs bedroom also has its own heating unit. There are many south-facing windows to enjoy the bright sunlight as well as a balcony with mountain views. All windows have top-down, bottom-up cellular shades to maximize the views. The downstairs 70” t.v. is equipped with cable (and so is the bedroom 50” tv, but the 40” loft tv has Roku). There is also free wifi within the unit. Our condo is also equipped with Smart features...in addition to the usual Alexa commands, you can tell Alexa to “lock the front door.” “Turn on” and “turn off” entry, kitchen, bedroom, shower, pantry, loft and bathroom two lights. The garage is a necessity during the winter months; I am able to fit an Acura MDX parked backwards with mirrors folded in, but it is a tight space. There is also condo street parking as well. Bigwood also has a newly renovated pool and spa (access is seasonal/subject to COVID/Gov’t/HOA restrictions) as well as a community BBQ and laundry facility. Pool/jacuzzi sign-up sheet is located near laundromat bathroom (use code “1245” to enter). There is video surveillance within the development in order to ensure compliance with condo rules/regulations. We will offer a 10% discount for 7 night+ stays and price will be adjusted after reservation is booked...not offered during holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, week of Christmas and after, spring break). House Rules & Access Our condo is really a beautiful, clean space and we are excited to share it, so please be respectful of the unit so all other guests may enjoy. There are stairs both outside and inside the condo unit, so please make sure all guests are able to climb stairs. Please note our condo is a smoke-free, drug-free and pet-free home. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests, no exceptions. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 10:00 a.m. unless prior approval given ($50 violation fee accessed). During the holidays, check-in times may be delayed due to increased unit turnovers, but notice will be provided as soon as possible. **Also, during the peak holiday season, the minimum number of nights will be increased.** Location Bigwood condo is located right next to Sierra Star Golf Course (less than 5 min walk) and the Village is 10 min walk (Locate Chateau D’Oex Condo then walk to Hidden Valley Rd to Lake Mary Rd). The Yellow Line shuttle is .25 miles away; Eagle Lodge is .75 miles/Canyon Lodge is 1.3 miles away. Registration details 9333-0001
