The space Repos à Ribérac is for guests who consciously choose tranquility, atmosphere, and quality. Not an anonymous accommodation or a busy vacation spot, but a refined place where you can slow down, recharge, and experience the region at your own pace. Whether you want to get away from it all for a few days, are visiting family, are on the road, are attending a wedding, or are staying in the area for a longer period, privacy, comfort, and personal hospitality are paramount here. Many guests leave feeling the same way—like they've been completely cut off from the outside world for a while. Repos à Ribérac is housed in a meticulously renovated 1840s notary's residence, where historic charm and understated elegance come together. As soon as you step through the stately doors onto Rue Jean Moulin, the pace changes. No crowds or rush, but a place where peace, comfort, and personal attention come naturally. The Bergerac Suite is located in a completely private area at the rear of the house, adjacent to the quiet courtyard. This allows you to enjoy the atmosphere and hospitality of a small-scale B&B, while also having the feel of a standalone boutique accommodation. The suite features a stylish living area, a large, fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. From the balcony, you can look out over the patio, a peaceful spot to start the day relaxed or, conversely, to end it in tranquility. For longer stays, additional amenities such as underfloor heating, a washing machine, and a dryer provide extra comfort and convenience. Within walking distance, you will find the center of Ribérac, with cafes, restaurants, shops, and the popular Friday market. From here, you can effortlessly discover the charm of the Dordogne: historic villages, peaceful hiking trails, golf courses, canoes, vineyards, and characterful towns such as Aubeterre, Brantôme, Bergerac, and Périgueux. Destinations such as Sarlat, Lascaux, and the wine region around Bordeaux are also easily accessible for a day trip. Other things to note We aim to provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for all our guests. To ensure this, we kindly ask you to consider the following: * No smoking or vaping indoors * In the evening and at night, we respect the peace and quiet. * The studio is not suitable for parties or events. * We ask you to be respectful of the house and considerate of other guests. Check-in is possible between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.; check-out is before 11:00 a.m. Repos à Ribérac welcomes guests ages 8 and up.
