Lovingly renovated approx. 70 sqm half-timbered house in the heart of Waldhessen between Bad Hersfeld and Eisenach in the land of the "White Mountains". Discover Wildeck and the surrounding area. Find resting places, enjoy countless hiking trails or visit the surrounding cities with events such as the Hersfelder Festival or the Wartburg in Eisenach. The house is located on a 3-sided courtyard between Bad Hersfeld and Eisenach, within 10 minutes of the highway exit. The space A minimum occupancy of 3 nights makes ecological sense for us. The offer basically includes sheets, towels, dishtowels and soap. We make an effort to set everything up as we would like to find it ourselves. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pod machine, fridge-freezer. In the second bedroom, we can offer 2 more sleeping options via an expandable sofa bed. The house has central heating and can therefore easily be inhabited all year round. Our house is a no smoking house, The special challenge in these "old" houses is to bring modernity up to date with the old tasteful and hygienic. Therefore, in the classic sense, there is no separate bathroom, but a toilet with sink on the ground floor and a shower with sink in the main bedroom upstairs. Please note this. Guest access We love animals! On our property 3 dogs and 4 cats move. Therefore, we provide, especially our guests with dogs, a fenced-out area of about 1000 m². There are also cot bags, food and drinking bowl, basket/pillow and blankets available for every four-legged friend. In front of the house, there are seating areas. Other things to note This originally designed house once belonged to my great-grandparents and is therefore also called "Grandma Rie's Haus". For the older villagers, it is still known under "Eckens Marie". In the lower and upper hallway area, we were able to unblock partially well-preserved wall paintings during the restoration (they were used instead of wallpaper to beautify the walls). We have tried to combine the old with the new to make your stay with us as beautiful as possible.
